“Ah a rural post office… almost. They still got everything a city slicker needs though; this reminds me of before they renovated the Chantilly office. As for everyone hating on the premise: A USPS workers job is one of the hardest jobs, and yes they could go work at McDonalds and get better benefits; it grinds humans to a degree that would have you checking yourself into some type of rehab. Why do they do it you ask? It certainly isn’t just because it’s one of the last jobs you can work in America that pays real retirement… back to the grinding… day in and day out some of them having to work 2 weeks straight or more at a time; the busy season, the Holidays, you name it, they’re there Sun, Sleet, anything Mother Nature hails the carriers way. Go ahead and get yourself a tin shed from Amazon who abused the USPS at the behest of We the Consumers. Cut you the mock up out of a postal truck. Take a deep breath, also don’t forget your 32 ounce Gatorades. You’re going to need those when you’re sitting in the Easy Bake Oven they call the LLV’s (dealing with 2what-awfuls who think they own the road, subdivision and the bikers lane to boot), you think good and hard how much you’ve donated to their fund the project campaign of build you a facility that them city folk take for granted; be their guest, go talk to a Union rep, they’ll know exactly how to get a fundraiser-in your name of course-going that just might get what you’re crying over accomplished. When you’re satisfied with your humanitarianism, you can then go run for Mayor. Albeit, you could go be the Mayor and then do it, but we think that you’ll just rather lick an envelope or two and mail yourself a reminder. Chk Ur Z31f, B4, j00 Wr3ck j00z31f as a public service announcement to the most dedicated American workers, doing one of the most thankless tasks these days. Those that know, we salute the army of postal workers who have to put up with your megalomaniac existences. Cut them some well deserved slack Jack…”

“This post office in the back of Ace Hardware store is a hidden gem. They have great hours and there’s never a line. Maybe waited for 5 minutes once. Avoid the craziness of the big USPS off PWP behind BJs and go to this place if you want quick service with no lines.”

“Small, full service Post Office. Had a package containing lithium batteries that had been rejected with conflicting information twice at a nearby CPU in my hardware store. The Postmaster himself at this Post Office was manning one of the two stations and spent time looking up the regulations, making calculations and labeling so my package could finally be mailed. Thanks! Great, pleasant service!”

“The three post workers I have seen working at this location over the years have always been respectful. Some customers ask them to go beyond their job specifications. Most often they try to help and sometimes they are so busily overwhelmed, they can only try their best. You give them respect you get respect back. I am grateful that they recognize me as a frequent patron. They have allowed me to acquire my heavy packages past the side blue door. They have never in the 10 years of PO Box rental ever sent any packages back to senders. I fill out the proper paperwork online to let them when I go on vacation. They know my box may become full and hold my mail until I return.”

“Tucked away on a side street I've never been on I had to use Waze to get there. Even then I took wrong turns twice before I found it. Anyway I finally found it. There was one other car there. I walked in the first door. Its a lobby area with po boxes. To the right is a second door. This area has mailables both envelopes and boxes. I stood in line and waited for a worker to come out. She was cordial and greeted me with a warm smile. I had a mailer which she processed then gave me a receipt. Since this was my first time there I asked if there were other post offices in Manassas Park. She mentioned there is a drop off facility on Euclid Avenue, it's not full service. I thanked her for the information.”
