I just moved so this is my first time in this Safeway. It's newer then the one I used to go to. It's clean and a has friendly staff. Can get everthing I need quickly. Doesn't have the wide selections as some of the other stores but I like coming here for my staples and the bulk of my shopping. They have a good rewards program and easy to use app for coupons/gas rewards. I also like using Safeway to deliver groceries to my house. I do think they can work out a better system on how they deliver and customer service. I have gotten another customer's order and they have forgotten items. Most times there were no issues.

The lady named Maysoon who processes Western Union transactions is incompetent. I asked her a western union money transfer to Turkey but she messed up and sent it to El Salvador. I know this because the recipient called me and said western union told them no transaction exist under the same tracking number in Turkey. Maysoon refused to fix the problem she caused and provided terrible customer service.

This location has great sales and very kind employees. Unfortunately the quality control for perishables has gotten worse, however. The cherries I bought from this store went soft and even molded after 3 days in the fridge. The 2 cucumbers I bought went soft overnight and had 2 puncture marks in both of them that only appeared after going soft. And it's not just the produce - my new bag of Toufayan Classic White Pita that was due to expire July 16th had mold spots on all the loaves on July 5th. I'll only shop for canned goods and non-perishables at this store from now on.

nice lady at the self checkout. i always come for fresh fruit and fresh seafood. there was no hot rotassiarie chicken like the other safeways, however i got a great deal on seafood.

Clean and well stocked grocery store. The guy in the seafood department was extra nice. They were cleaning up for the night, and I asked if i could get a few pounds of crab legs. He accommodated me, and for that reason and level of customer service, I'll be returning to this store.

If you like overpriced groceries that are usually of decent or average quality this is the place for you. Produce is nothing special and very expensive. This store often has expired sale tags and expired food products. Wegmans has comparable prices for far better quality. I have noticed this Safeway store is always quite clean so it should be noted. 3 stars as it does have some conveniences to it but not somewhere I shop very often. The occasional basket of stuff is all I ever get from there as I cannot justify overpaying here. I highly recommend lidl and wegmans.

I can't tell if this is an older store or just a store in need of a refurb. It was well stocked and clean, but the age and decor were definitely showing. Staff seemed friendly with the little interaction i had with them. Prices seemed higher than the competition.

The only reason they get 2 stars is because of convenience......This place needs a complete overhaul on Customer Service. The deli staff is the worst. I have stood at the counter for 5-10 minutes and get completely ignored. Btw, I was the only customer standing there. I will start driving to Harris Teeter or Giant from now on.

Local shop near my home I go there all the time. Clean, organized plenty of cashiers, and self paying spots. Very easy access with plenty of parking. Not busy at all quick pay and go.

It's a grocery store it's got what you need the selection is limited if your doing simple or basic cooking your fine but don't expect to find a huge selection of ingredients.

I have had numerous wonderful experiences with Bristow Safeway bakery team. Melody and Jennifer are great to work with and really listen and help create cakes of my choice. I started creating cakes with Melody a few years ago and the finished product are almost everytime looks much nicer than I imagine.Recently Jennifer worked with me to create a beuriful baby shower cake. It was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. My guests were impressed. The other bakery staff are pleasant and nice to work with also. Happy Holidays to Bristow Safeway bakery team! This review is specifically for the seafood department and store management team. Store is clean and neat with a jaded feel to it. Now the issue: my wife ordered a lobster tail special for Thanksgiving. One tail for $7.99, about half off. And she has a promotional coupon code for extra $30 off when buy 10. She placed the order online to pick up at this store. Half an hour later after receiving a confirmation email of the order, she got another confirmation email for 10 cases of the tails! Now we were out and about running errands, preparing for Thanksgiving Day so we didn't notice the email until we arrived at the store to pick it up, which we didn't pay any mind too since we're already at the place. My wife, whose English skill is pretty weak, went in for in. She got 1 case of 10 tails, and a receipt of $800!! Yes not $80 minus the $30 promo code, but $800!! The seafood clerk Doug (name on the receipt) said that's what we ordered, and he can give us some discount, to drop it down to about $700. Now on the receipt it supposed to say REPLACEMENT, and also stated 10 cases! Not 1 case!! My wife didn't know exactly what were being said so she just wanted a refund. They cashed her out and said the return was done! We thought nothing of it until the charge went through! We went back and talked to the front end supervisor. She investigated and found the department didn't do a proper transaction when fulfill the order and didn't make a refund as claimed. She said she will talk to the store manager and give us a call to update us. Well nothing happened. We contacted our bank and disputed the charge. And I am writing this review as a warning for the shady business this store runs!

Update: the store contacted me on yelp and wanted me to contact them on their website. I never could find a way to do that and I have a couple of degrees! I have already reported these items to management on multiple, multiple occasions. Only get attention on yelp. And since I'm on a roll, absolute worst Starbucks ever. Drinks are not made properly and barista has a terrible attitude in front of customers and to other employees. Machine is broken a lot. Because this store is the closest and in the middle of a subdivision we can't avoid it all the time, but we try hard. Lots of items expired, you really have to pay attention. Beer cooler has been running hot for TWO years and has mold. The store is very dirty if you look underneath and behind things at all. Service is good, but it takes more than that to run a store. Always smells heavily of seafood. Gross.
