I had a really disappointing experience with the manager at USPS, Charles. From the moment I interacted with him, he was rude and dismissive, showing a level of attitude that felt completely unprofessional. Instead of helping or listening, he was condescending and acted nasty, which made the whole situation much more stressful than it needed to be. Someone in a management role should set a better example, and his behavior was honestly unacceptable.
It’s clear that this USPS location needs better management. Hiring someone like Charles who doesn’t treat customers with respect or professionalism is a bad look for the place. They should focus on hiring and training staff who can handle customer service with kindness and patience. A better-managed team would definitely make the experience better for everyone who relies on their services.

I just went to the Bristow USPS location for the passport walk-in service. I arrived at the location at 3:12 because the USPS website states walk-in services are from 3-4pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Friday. The walk-in appointments are on a first come first serve basis. I was turned away by the man working the passport desk as he said they were full today with passport appointments. The man working the desk also said that I needed to sign up for a walk-in appointment at 2pm.
That is absolute crap! I was the only person in the building with my documents in hand!! So stupid!! Don't go here for passport appointments and read reviews before driving.

Woman denied my daughters’ passport applications because the notary used blue ink (on the consent form giving permission from the other parent). Went to a different post office today and they said that wasn’t a thing. As long as the passport application was in black ink (it was), it doesn’t matter what the notary does. Waited over an hour past appointment time, too. Would not recommend.

Horrible service!!!! Came into their walk in hours for passport exactly at 3pm and there were only two ahead of me and he denied attending me just because he said he only wanted to attend two more, I just wanted a passport for my daughter and I had all my documents ready. Why put a time if you don’t want to attend during that time!!! Never coming here again

Kudos to the employees at this post office for their patience. I came in for a passport appointment today and received excellent service. During my appointment, two other customers came in with certain complaints.. the employee handled both sooooo patiently. The first, customer had written the wrong zip code on her package so it got returned. The employee repeatedly explaining to the lady the issue and why it got returned while lady kept arguing for over ten minutes straight. I was getting frustrated just listening to the lady argue over the same thing consistently while the employee remained so calm.

I frequent this location because of its proximity to my place of work. This location almost always has a line, but it moves relatively quickly. The staff are always helpful and polite. I can only think of a couple times that I've been frustrated here. A majority of the time they're happy to help and quick to assist. I've been told by the staff that if you're dropping off packages that are already labeled and ready-to-go without needing a receipt, you're good to just head to the far right side of the store and drop the packages on the shorter counter with no plexiglass in front of it. No need to wait in line, which is what I'm doing 90% of the time.

Had a wonderful experience at this post office. Colin helped my husband and I get our 4 month old daughter’s passport all set up and done without any difficulty. Oswald was also kind to us as we worked through the process. Colin even gave us a passport photo to keep for ourselves! It was a quick and easy task with this kind team! :) THANK YOU

Worst place for passports. Worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I request everyone to save their time and energy and not visit this place. I arrived during walk-in hours and waited 10 mins for my turn. The guy at the counter took forever to explain the form filling instructions since he was busy in playing a game on his phone. He took a couple of pauses and asked me to wait since he was playing the game. Once he was done with the instructions, I asked him for taking photos and he responded with: sir it's 4:01 and walk in hours are over. I drove 15 miles for this and this guy told me to come back next week. Pathetic experience, zero professionalism or ethics. If I could, I'd have rated negative for what I've been through at this location. They did a similar thing when I went 2 years back for my son's passport and I was expecting improvements since then, but I guess I should be blamed for getting fooled twice. Won't recommend at all. Never ever ever will I return!!!!!!!

Sadly I've been to the post master 4 separate times because my mail is often wet. The driver leaves box door open and mail gets rained on. As the box is on a busy road the mail often blows out into ditch because the driver will not shut mailbox. This problem has been going on since 2020.
So frustrating.....

Absolutely horrible service! If you expect to use their "walk-in" service for passports, please understand that they allow folks to come HOURS early to "sign-in" and return at 3pm. This is NOT walk-in. Additionally, they waste 40+ mins on customers who arrive without completed applications, appropriate passport photos, while also allowing a single "walk-in" to become a party of 3+ family members. Again, this is not a typical method used at any other UPS site for passports. After driving an hour for a "walk-in" there is absolutely no way I would return here for any service offered. The old lady behind the desk is rude as can be too. AVOID.

The USPS employee looked rude and unprofessional.I came 4 minutes before the closing time (5p.m.). Then, at 5:03p.m. they told me to come back the next day when I found out that I have to fill out a priority mail envelope to send my documents faster. I asked them not to use Priority mail and use a regular one (to save time), and they replied again to come the next day.I'm extremely disappointed.

The workers in this post office have always been knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful. I go to this post office most often.
