So I never write reviews but after seeing all the horrible reviews I wanted to share my experience. I was genuinely nervous to end up here after seeing the reviews online, but I had no choice. This is why sometimes you have To take a negative review with a grain of salt. Every staff member I interacted with was so nice and helpful. Even to other patients as I was in the waiting room. Nobody was rude. They were quick (I didn’t have an appointment) and efficient. Overall I had a really great experience and I am relieved to have gotten some help with my sickness. i’d definitely recommend them.

I will be giving this place 1 star . I saw the reviews before going here and I thought nahh it can’t be this bad I was wrong.I don’t ever write reviews but I feel like the people should how they will be treated here. They say they close at 8 pm,they say they don’t take people after 7:20 pm.Why you have your doors unlocked and posted you close at 8pm when really you close at 7:20 pm for new patients. Second complain is the front desk administrator person was on Facebook while checking me in she was very unprofessional and rude the time I was there. My third complaint is with the doctor I saw. She created a label for my results that labcorp couldn’t read so they couldn’t run it until the doctor came back on shift. What if I had something really bad? Will you withhold treatment until she return back to work to fix her mistake? When they realize that she should have came back the next day to fix it not three days later. This was my first time I went here and it is my last. Very unprofessional place.

Sorry, need to disagree with the other reviews. My wife has chronic health issues (Diabetes) and recently had throat surgery. A few weeks ago she started coughing endlessly. It was a Saturday afternoon, so options were limited. With her extensive medical history loaded into the UVA Mychart (EHR -powered by Epic) I decided to drive over here vs a much closer urgent care chain. We are so glad we did. they were attentive, X-rayed, tested and prescribed. Follow-up was excellent. She decided to switch her primary over here as well. Excellent attention, careful exam, and again best in class follow-up. They respond promptly to messaging in the portal. With Dr Rehmann in urgent and now Dr Frymoyer as her primary there she feels well attended to and confident she is getting great care.

Has been our go to urgent care place for our 6+ years in the area. We love Dr. Rehmann, she gives our little ones excellent care every time we need it from weird sicknesses or broken bones, she has always gotten us the care we need

This urgent care is my go-to! Professional, courteous, concerned, patient-centered care. Great nurses and staff, and Dr. Rehmann is my personal favorite!

I would not recommend this place. The receptionist was rude when I called and asked if they accept at walk-ins. she definitely made me feel like it was an inconvenience for her to answer the questions. when I got there, the service was no different. They seemed to be bothered by my presence. The young lady taking my vitals before the doctor got in, wrote down my medication wrong. When the doctor came in, he started interrogating me about where I got my medication from. After repeating my medications to him several times did he then realize that what the young lady wrote on the paper and what I told her was incorrect. The sad thing is that I even gave her the medication to write down. Dr had no bedside manner. It was more like he was checking off of task rather than seeing a patient. I would NEVER GO BACK HERE!

This place is awful, I attempted to go to the urgent care today because I was having sudden hip pain since this morning. It progressed enough to where I wanted to be seen by a doctor today for some type of relief until I could get seen next week by a primary doctor. The receptionist was beyond rude she started by basically telling me there’s nothing they can do for me because they don’t prescribe pain meds, (I believe she thought that’s all I wanted and was faking being in pain) I still requested to be seen. She than gets a call from the back, proceeds to tell me their X-ray isn’t working so they cannot see me? I was so frustrated I just left. I didn’t think I had a broken hip so why did they need the X-ray. I ended up going to patient first and they were so amazing, GUESS WHAT NO X-RAY NEEDED!! AND NO PAIN MEDS! I have a pinched nerve and just need an anti inflammatory shot for immediate relief and than pills for a few days! So they were just lazy and assumed I wanted pain meds instead of wanting to help me, so not go to that Bristow location, actually all UVA health is awful!

DO NOT Go to UVA urgent care in Bristow. The nurses are very rude and unprofessional. Nurses did not do a good job in testing for covid or flu. They have no sympathy to the patients. They tried to hurt me like hell even I asked politely that I am afraid of putting a long Q tip in my noses but she pushed it in very hard that made me sick for a week with running noes and sneezing. I am not happy with their services. They should not be the nurses at all. Also, the receptionist at the front desk is so horrible, no manner and very rude person. We are here to beg for food or drink. We are here to see the doctor and we pay for it, not for free but this lady treated me like a homeless. She should take more trainings and I meant it.

Bad experience with this practice; we are completely disappointed, no heart in its core or care and compassion for our health. On Saturday they refused to give antibiotics or any medication for caugh to our child with fever, her tests for flu, covid and 5 other test.. was negative, they all suggest we take our child back to the primary doctor, say that there is no problem with our child although is coughing for more than 3 months but in reality the infant can develop Pneumonia is an infection that inflames the air sacs in one or both lungs or as or asthma. they refuse to give meds to lessen the pain or heal the child and arguing. Really useless practice. No care for its little patients. they misdiagnose our child and refuse to write a prescription even if they commited a health mistake on our child. The next day we call her primary doctor they refuse to see my infant with fever 103 because no appt. We have to wait, No emotions too, we took our child to ER we stayed more 5 hours imagine your toddler in pain and can not talk, tested another time for flu, Covid... all negative, they prescribed antibiotics and our child is doing much better. No thanks to this practice for Not Caring about our child. You have lost a customer for life!

I called to request information about testing for Lyme disease after being bitten by 2 ticks, they said that I could come in at anytime. My sister had also called to ask to get tested. They told her it was too soon for her to get tested. However, when I call the lady appeared annoyed and after asking me if I had called earlier she became upset while telling me that they did not think it was necessary to test and that I couldn't come in today. I don't understand why an urgent care would refuse service to a paying customer especially after I explained that I am going through IVF and I just wanted some peace of mind.

I'd subtract stars if possible. The receptionist at the 'Emergency' clinic sent my husband home because of an insurance verification glitch. She called the insurance company but hung up because she was tired of waiting. Said, "We don't do this here. That's not our problem."So an "Emergency Care" receptionist sent a man with a softball sized lymph node home. Didn't say he could pay cash. Nope. Just sent him walking. My call was met with incompetence and the poorest customer service I've experienced in a very long time.Disgusting. Doctors should know that their desk crew represents them. And hiring such low fruit sends a disturbing message about the qualifications of ALL who work at that establishment. We called Novant Hospital and -- WOW -- suddenly the insurance verification was worked out. OMG. A miracle. Too bad Bristow Urgent Care withholds the name of office managers/contacts so I could relay the good news.Sickening.

I didn’t know that they could deny a child to been seen just because they can. My son has flu like symptoms, and THIS urgent care made the sorriest excuse of all excuses to not see my son, and for that, you have poor character. Why are you a doctor if your just going to turn ppl away, especially an 11 yr old whom is obviously in need to be seen. True intentions will always reveal itself, and I do not recommend anyone to even attempt to try to be seen at this office?.
