“I walked in to the Burke Navy Federal Branch 10-15 minutes before closing to have a notary and cashiers check cut. I was greeted in a friendly manner & was treated warmly. I sat to wait for assistance & while sitting noticed several older men in line continually be greeted - many by name. One rep for Navy Federal even went over to talk to one of the gentleman. Then these same men were greeted by name by other reps as they moved in the line. Although one of the men was taken before me when I was to be next, he was much older and called by name. He didn’t look rich or anything just a well known member. I thought it was very sweet how these men in particular were welcomed and served. I was also served with friendliness and warmth in my interaction despite it being very busy.”
“I filled out a car loan application with NextMark. Immediately, I received a call.The usual route of sending in two current checks was done. Credit scores checked. Loan was approved.The loan officer was so sweet and professional.She walked me through whatever it was, that I didn’t understand. “Everyone who works here is so friendly! This particular location is located on the first floor of 8115 Gatehouse Rd. I don't like that you have to park in a parking garage to go to the bank, but it's better than not having a bank nearby at all! It can be tricky finding the place. Get off on floor 1* and go toward a hallway that has a bunch of framed portraits (I think its photos of school district members or something. It'll be all the way down that hallway.”

My wife, Joy, has been a member of HFCU since around 1970 and we have never met an individual who has been so knowledgeable, attentive, responsive and courteous to our needs and questions as Ms. Re.Others have tried to help but have often had to transfer us to one or another more experienced person. When we reached Ms. Re, she not only was able to answer our questions immediately, or refer us to the appropriate person (who answered us right away), but made very educated suggestions about how to transfer some of our savings into accounts with better returns and do the actual transactions for us.I understand Ms. Re has been ill for a while. When we attempted to contact her and were unable, we felt very much at sea. When her health improved, she contacted us and took care of our requests right away.We hope she will be better soon and be able to continue for many more years with HFCUShe is so good and should have a well-deserved raise!Sincerely, Michael and Joy Greene”

“Very efficient, great location near Ft. Belvoir. Employees are very friendly with the whole family. They are able to offer youth services as well as full banking guidance. The credit union was opened to all branches plus account holders with an affiliation can add qualified additional members. It is easier than ever to get authorized, just check for guidance as terms have been updated.”
