I've been to a few H Marts in the area and this one is my favorite. Vegetables are good quality, isles are organized nicely, good variety of ingredients for many Asian cuisines. There is also a beautiful bakery inside along with a ramen shop. The bakery is French style and also makes coffee, tea, and bubble tea to order. It's a good place to get a special cake, a croissant, milk bread, and more!

It is a blessing to have an H-Mart in your neighborhood. After a certain age, your diet and eating habits drastically convey into vegetables. H-Mart is one of the best veggie friendly markets and I am a big fan.

#TheVirginiaDepartmentofHealthPLEASE CHECK THIS UP@THEVIRGINIADEPARTMENTOFHEALTHI was freaked out about how expensive the fruit was AT THIS H-MART LOCATED IN BURKEIt is not just that but the pineapple, papaya etc were rotten. When I approach one of the supervisor he tld me that no that is the right price, then I asked him about the quality of the fruit and he told me it's ok, it's ok. The pineapple was spoiled, it looked sucked and dry like when the product time is over. I asked him 'these have the same price?' and he said of course id The Monte, I guess that was the brand. What is the purpose to have a great brand if the product is spoiled. The papaya was at almost $8.50!!!!!. PINEAPLLE ALMOST $5.00 DOLLARS!!!.AND THEY WERE SPOILED!!!.I got a bag of a product with a price on it, and tag on the shelf, and when cashier scanned it came back with different price. It was like 2 dollars more. At this point I was dissapointed since I stopped by to get some fruit and keep on going. With cashier we were trying to figure this out since the price was there, just the scanning throw another price. Anyway, I was in a hurry and I paid.GET AWAY OF H-MART BURKE. I'VE BEEN IN OTHER H-MART AND THIS IS THE WORST.

Our favorite place to eat. We love Korean/ Asian food. The food is delicious! Our whole family lives to eat here, even our grandchildren!! We love the bakery and the snack isle is a favorite of the grandchildren!! We also grocery shop here. The produce prices are great, as well as Asian condiments that I use to cook. It's a very well kept store and everyone is friendly. If your like Korean food give it a try. You won't be sorry!!!!

This particular store is very clean and roomy. They're special sale items that are not available at other local chain stores such as $0.50/watercress bunch, $0.79/lb precut jack fruit... Highly recommended for international supermarket shopping.

I love super H-mart, as a former chef but this location was something out of a 1950s dystopian past. My fiancé and I were shopping for groceries. We were heading to the register but not before passing the live crab and lobster. We considered buying crab. They had Dungeness, our favorite. They looked massive, so we used the tongs to pick one up to see the size. Almost immediately a staff person came up behind us and suggested that what we were doing was ‘dangerous’. He implied that we needed help. I politely said, ‘no, we’re fine thanks. Making decisions.’ He didn’t leave us to do so. He continued following us in the area until we felt uncomfortable so we left. We headed straight for the register. We know that was a prejudice encounter but we thought we’ll just leave and it will end. The cashier’s first question to us — (no hello, how are you) ‘Is this going to be a separate transaction?’ We had more than $100 worth of groceries in our cart and we were clearly a couple. We had only one cart. He continued to ask, ‘Will you pay separately?’ I’m not sure what about us, gave the impression that we were two individual customers, paying separately no less, pulling groceries onto the conveyer belt from the same cart. This assessment is beyond me but prejudice comes to mind! It was wild. So I tell the cashier how I feel and tell him his questions are inappropriate and that if someone is doing a separate transaction they would let him know. I also shared the experience we had trying to pick out crab ? in the fish market and told him that this experience also reeked of prejudice. I asked to speak with a manager. I was told by him and customer service that there wasn’t one present or on duty. We left got in the car, shaken and vowed never to come back to this location. Sadly it doesn’t end here ?. Something told me to look at the receipt. We were erroneously charged $44 for one bunch of Chinese chives!! While the cashier, Sam took responsibility for his mistake, it was his prejudice comments made initially, upon checkout that stuck with me. The irony of it all! In short, avoid this location. Horrible customer service.

H-Mark is one of my favorite markets to visit. We have been coming to this store since it was open. They have a great selection of Korean and some Asian products. Hmart used to be a decent price comparing to local markets but since COVID and inflation, price has been above local markets. For a good deals, you really needs to visit weekly for a marked down price or manager special.
