This place is very hit-or-miss. I went during the week and was helped with paint-matching and even though I paid a premium as opposed to just going to Home Depot, I felt like it was worth it.
Then I made the mistake of going on a Sunday. There were many customers, and only one dude there who was working comically slowly and wasn't saying anything to anyone, including the person he was helping. I just walked out. Look man, if I'm going to spend $87 for a gallon of paint, I'd BETTER feel good coming out of that place.
But there's an equal chance that this store isn't for a homeowner - rather it's for contractors to come in and pay a premium on their paint so that they can charge exorbitant material costs to lazy, rich Burkians. And if you show up on a Monday when they first open, you'll see the line of contractors standing outside. More power to you all but for us mere mortals please respect what you've earned and go to Home Depot instead.

I’ve always had great customer service here. I went in to the store today and was treated extremely rude by a woman employee. I asked her if she could help me with buying a quart of paint; however, I needed her to look up the formula. She told me it would be “inappropriate” for her to take the time to look up the color, and she would not be willing to help me. I had waited ten minutes (never complained), was extremely pleasant, and thanked her as I left even though she didn’t offer to assist me in any way. It was a very strange experience. I have been a customer here for over ten years, and the employees have always been helpful and respectful to me.

When painting your house, it's best to go with the professionals. The folks at Sherwin Williams are. Quality comes with a higher price tag to a degree, but so does the advice and guidance you'll find here. Am pleased to have bought my paints and supplies here, and it was my hardcore detailed contractor who got me here. He only works with top tier materials. I agree with his theory "anything house related get great quality." He's been in the business for years, and his reputation is sterling. I found the employees here very approachable. They heard out what I was going for, and let's just say they found the best green color I could even dream of. The bedroom and a storage room downstairs, look far better thanks to them. I'm very pleased to give them the highest rating here. All of the employees are exceptional, and their ideas along with suggestions, have helped me add value to the house.

I came to this location with low expectations based on some reviews. I left incredibly happy with the service and help provided by the staff. They were super helpful and friendly and even helped loading the paint into my truck. I'll definitely come back to this location for my paint projects!

I was trying to match paint color and sheen for a color painted over 9 years ago, worked with Shaquayla who did an excellent job matching both color and sheen. Very pleased with the service.

Inconsistent pricing and service-Charged me 30% more than others in line for the same item with a professional account because It wasn't under a homeowner account but the previous day I was given the 30% off that same item. I'm not sure why you would ever charge a trade professional more than other people for the same item at any point in time when those are the people consistently using your business and specifying your product. After driving back to the store and waiting in line again, the manager corrected the price. If SW is having a sale, it should apply to both homeowner accounts and trade professionals or contractors.

Not a huge store, but the employees are curtious and always help me with my requests. SW paint is definitely high quality/high cost. Recommend you wait to but until they have a sale. 40% off is the best I've seen, and it's normally once a month or so.

I appreciated the efficiency and the knowledge of the staff at this store, I can't praise them enough. They knew what they were doing, provided relevant information and aided in selection of specific paint types. When an associate takes the time to work with a customer, it makes all the difference.
