I recently visited this Staples close to closing time for a self-print project and had an exceptional experience, all thanks to Anthony and Russell. Their assistance was above and beyond, ensuring my project was completed effectively before it got too late. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to help truly ended my week on a high note since I really wanted to share the printout with my family over the weekend. A big thank you to both of them for their exemplary customer service.

We came to return an Xfinity router since staples is now partnered with them to accept returns. We called the store and xfinity and they confirmed they can do this. We arrived and the young boy at the return center looked lost and confused. We asked for a manager to assist as we were told they can do this without an issue. The young boy looked scared to death to ask the manager. He went over to what I’m going to assume is the manager. This was the nastiest meanest manager we ever came across. He was speaking to the young boy like he was stupid. We then told the manager directly we’re just trying to make a return. The manager throws up his hands and looks/talks to us like we’re stupid. The manager was bright red and looked like he just got done yelling at someone. Manager was telling us off and screaming at us to get out. This was the most violent interaction I’ve ever had and extremely uncalled for. The manager was throwing his arms everywhere and asking us “who told you that you can make a return?!?!” We told him we don’t know! Quite frankly even if we did know the name we wouldn’t tell this guy because he probably would have flipped on his employee based on how violent and aggressive he was. I have never had anyone, a manager at that, come at me and my boyfriend like a complete animal. It caused a scene in the entire story, yelling at us across from the store, using foul language and curse words. He was rushing us to get out and I thought he was going to assault us. NEVER EVER GO HERE! UPS store down the street did the router return in literally 2 seconds without any issue. All they had to do was scan the code on the bottom of the router and it had all the information. To think that something so small and simple caused the biggest scene ever is unbelievable to me. No one seems trained and all workers seemed terrified of this man. Don’t be in customer service if you’re going to be screaming and attacking customers.

Store Manager- John is very rude and condescending. Store closes at 8pm but he refused service prior to closing. Bad for business. Picture taken at 7:40pm.

Yesterday (Dec 29) at 5:00 PM.visited this store and wanted to pay cash for a $100 visa gift card.The guy at the counter (with a mustache) refused me, said that he needed a credit card for the payment.When I asked for a reason, he respnded the government is trying to stop money laundering ...... ?Are we entitled to use the US bill at Staples?

I ordered a print job at staples and called the print department to see a sample before I get all the printouts. I spoke with Dexter over the phone and she spoke with me with such a great manner and told me i can come over, see the sample and get my printouts. I came to the printing department and she showed me a sample, even changed the file for me which had better margins and printed all 400 copies on the spot for me. She is an example of what an excellent customer service provider! Thank you!

I normally don't have a problem with this Staples, I bought a chair here a couple years back and they put it together for me and everything.But when I went to do a couple of Amazon returns I was disgusted by the amount of plastic that was wasted. I put my returns in small polybags before returning them (I already have them for my small business) since the usual return bags dwarf my items. At the Staples in Manassas, the employee slapped the labels right on my bags, recognizing them as intended for this purpose. However, the employee here insisted on putting my already poly bagged items into another plastic bag the size of a kitchen trash bag. When I explained I had pre-bagged them to avoid this necessity, he refused to budge. He did this for both items, both of when were pre-bagged with bags far smaller than the bags he used. I was so upset about the pointless waste of plastic that I walked out without the receipt or coupon and I will not be returning Amazon items here in the future. Amazon shopping is already wasteful enough without adding unnecessary garbage-sized plastic bags to the return process.

Anthony, Steve, and Vhabu went out of their way, in many ways above and beyond the normal customer service experience, to help me with my purchase of office furniture (chair and accessories, filing furniture). Even though I had the option of making the same purchase at a Staples much closer to where I live, I opted to return to this much farther away store simply for the stellar customer service I received from the staff.While I got one of the more expensive options, I was never pressured into it - quite the opposite, Anthony and Steve were so informative and offered me many great options at much lower prices as well. The chair's installation was very quick and the whole purchase experience was very professional.

The worst customer service with a real bad attitude. Stopped by on Wed. 02Mar2022 around 10am to drop off an UPS package that was ready with labels...The woman behind was so rude with an attitude that she should be in the stock rooms instead of dealing with customers. Wonder who had hired her? and what the qualification for hiring a customer service person from Staples.To say the least... for myself, there will never another visit to Staples.Yuck...

Went today to use their scanner and it malfunctioned. The copy center rep was SOO abrasive when I told her about it I couldn't believe it. She kept repeating to me that it wasn't the printer service that failed, I did it wrong...as if she had seen me doing it. I told her the exact steps and where it failed and she continued to tell me, loudly, I was wrong and thats not what happened and made me do it again while she shadowed me. I literally had to tell her " the way we're communicating is making me uncomfortable, let's change how we're speaking to each other" and she responded snarkily "OK I don't mean to make you uncomfortable, especially over 17 cents" - It was 53 cents...but she still wasn't getting the point. Anywho she got to see the malfunction with her on eyes and STILL didn't apologize for her assumptions. I got kind of cheeky and was like "ok so now you see YOU are wrong and I am right, right??? You see that." and she just walked off back to the rep area to now refund me for 2 transactions, my first and the 2nd she forced me to do. She wasn't humbled at all. Then for whatever reason the refund wasn't recognizing my card so after a few minutes of trying she had to do a manual refund...TWICE. total waste of time for what was supposed to be a quick errand. I will say I did end up getting what I needed in the end, she found a workaround in her work area but the lack of respect to the me as the customer wasn't worth it.

The Staffs were very rude. When I asked where self printing machine was, he said " it is over there" without guiding me. There were many machines. And I asked the cost. He answered And he said that exit is over there which I did not even ask, which means stop asking and get out. And also one guy in printing service when I said excuse me to me, he did not even look at me nor reponded to me and just called other staff. They were very rude.I felt ashamed to ask them. Do not have any service mind. Very frustrating place to visit. They need to improve response to customers. They always need help when they visit.
