Sam and his team are very professional and do great work. I had my kitchen and bathroom floors redone. I had a leveling issue in my kitchen and they worked with me on the solution. The finished project came out great. Quick installation and reasonable cost.

They did a fantastic job changing my carpet to laminate wood! The price was also very fair. Highly recommend this company if you want a nice renovation for floors!

Sam and his team did a great job, he worked with us on the design, made recommendations and had his team onsite to do the work the following week. It was very easy to discuss ideas with him, he was so responsive over text and worked within our budget to recreate our basement with a completely new floor!

Sam, the owner of Floor and Designs, was fantastic to work with. He was very helpful and patient in helping us decide on what type of flooring to choose from and was always quick to respond to our questions through texts or offer to meet in person. The pricing for the floor installation was fair and reasonable. I called several other flooring companies and Floor and Designs was among the few companies that were in our budget. The installation process itself had a few hiccups such as taking slightly longer than expected and some miscommunication with materials but they were friendly and courteous in resolving it. There was also an unexpected dent in one of the flooring pieces that was unfortunate. However, overall they did a great job and the floor looks wonderful. I have a few other flooring projects in mind for the near future and fully expect to call Sam again.

We just got work done at our new home by Floors and Designs. We cannot be more thrilled with the outcome!! Sam and his team was extremely professional and communicated frequently. I am very happy with the work that his team provided. We re-finished existing hardwood maple floors, installed new maple floors, installed LVP in the basement and installed new cabinets in the kitchen. They were able to match the existing cabinets and quartz countertop almost exactly. Just WOW! Incredible job. I would highly recommend working with Sam and team.

Floors and Designs went on a flooring journey with us and Sam was able to resolve some unforeseen problems with the baseboards, plaster, and electrical outlets quickly enough that we were able to move in to our house on time as planned with the new floor in place. He helped us pick a great wood floor for the space and installation was more efficient and cheaper than the other bids because of a smart approach to installing over the existing but degraded wood floor. He quickly responded to our last minute request for help with unplanned repairs, including finding large baseboards to be installed last minute. I would definitely work with them again and likely will as we continue repairing our old DC row house.

Sam was great to work with during our floor installation. One we had a material picked out, everything arrived within a week and the installers were there the next day to install everything. The final product looks great and we've gotten many compliments on it.

I would not recommend using this company. During my initial quote conversation with Sam (owner), he was very rude and unprofessional. Sam was unwilling to answer and/or explain standard questions asked by a customer to a business during the quoting process.

If I could rate this company zero stars, I would. I've used this company two times -- once in 2016 and again in 2019. The 2016 experience was excellent, from the sales rep to installation. It was so good that I decided to use them again in 2019. The sales rep we used in 2016 was no longer with the company. We had issues with the job from the measurement (incorrectly done by the sales rep) to installation. The install crew marked up the wood in numerous places and the person sent to fix the damage was not able to do so (because they didn't have enough wood). Example of damage: 10 inch scratches, in multiple spots, that span multiple boards from the crew dragging furniture across the wood. You'd think that the one contractor that would be careful on hardwood floors would be the contractor installing the floors... but in this case you'd be wrong. The floors installed in 2019 literally have more damage from the install crew than the 2016 floors have with three years of wear. We had a lot of other issues with this job too but I'll spare you all the details. Bottom line: this was the worst $10K I've ever spent.

This was the worst 4-5k dollars I've ever spent. I bought a townhome last July and decided to replace the carpet because I had a 6 month old that crawled around and spent all his time playing on it. We called for a consultation and the woman came over with samples of carpet but forgot to bring the sample that I particularly was interested in. She compared the carpet in my parents' home (she went there to give them a quote as well) to the carpet I was interested in and assured me it would be good quality. They came in to install the carpet and did a terrible job. The carpet quality was SO BAD. It doesn't feel like you're walking on carpet at all. There's no cushion to it and too firm. My old apartment had better quality than this. There were parts on the stairs that still showed the wood under and gaps between the floor and wall where they missed the carpet. There were sharp staples that we walked on. I called them back to complain about it and they didn't do anything about the carpet quality. They called their workers back to come fix the issues and the guy just kept saying he can't do anything about the gaps and staples but then tried to fix it and made it minorly more presentable. He hammered down entry ways to try to get the staples down. It was so unprofessional. It's been almost a year later and our family keeps complaining about stepping on sharp items. This is not safe, especially for my 1 year old. This company could have offered more to fix it or redo it when I called to express my concerns but they didn't seem to care about customer satisfaction and now I'm stuck with a 3-4k dollar bill and crappy carpet.

Unique Floor did a superb job installing my hardwood floors. Everything from ordering, installation, and payment went very smoothly. Suzie was very helpful in answering any questions I had and in selecting the hardwood. The price was very fair and the quality of installation was great. I love my new floors and highly recommend Unique Floor!

This has got to be the worst and most unorganized company I have ever worked with. They started off the project with trying to blame the owners for all the mistakes they made. Then they charged the final bill before they confirmed the work was complete and to the owners liking ( it was not: their were a lot of areas that needed to be fixed; they eventually came back and fixed them). Though dealing with the admin and owner was very painful, they work of the people laying the hardwood down was very good for the price. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The price was not bad, but you get what you pay for.

Cannot be trusted. I typically don't write reviews but I am compelled to share the poor experience we received with Unique Floor Design Center. Essentially every aspect of our job was flawed. Starting with a later than promised start time, then terrible, inaccurate communication throughout, erroneous measurements despite two different people coming out to measure, not enough materials ordered, more delays, an unwillingness to fix damaged areas of brand new hard wood, and actually being yelled at by the owner for having any complaints. This store is simply an unreliable, untrustworthy business and it seems that despite what they will tell you, they are only in it to collect your money. After they have your money they will ignore you, despite a year-long guarantee on their work. I truly remained optimistic throughout the project but time after time they made promises and did not deliver. The overall work that was done was fine, but the poor communication and unwillingness to fix damaged areas was enough to leave us incredibly disappointed.

We had delayed in finishing our basement for many years because we had several poor experiences with contractors over the years. When I finally decided to talk to peyman, I immediately felt that they took my concerns seriously and were willing to meet my expectations. Throughout the entire process, we were kept well informed. The project was completed on time, if not a few days early. They were at my house every day, working full days to complete the project in as little time and disruption as possible. They always went above and beyond to complete the project in ways that took into consideration what is "nicer" and "better", rather than just getting done. They often knew what we would want better than we did, and would make the recommendations. Our basement has been completed, and is so much better than we had hoped, and the experience was perfect! Although Abbey may not have been the cheapest option out there, I will definitely use them again for all the reasons stated above

TERRIBLE experience. Unprofessional, disorganized, dishonest. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor.
