Came here for passport renewal and the young Asian man asked me to fill out a form and come back. I come back an hour later and a Sikh employee was extremely rude. Threw my old expired passport back at me and told me to go back in line as he couldn’t help me. Didn’t need to be rude at all and totally unnecessary. The way he looked at me, he had hatred in his eyes. I have never seen anything like this in my life.
It seemed like I have bothered him as he didn’t seem happy and said I could have done this online. It seems like the employees here are all miserable. Very inconsistent with what their other employee said early morning. The Sikh man was also rude to this other elderly woman who wanted to get help with her mail. This man should be fired and this post office should do an investigation on this. Unacceptable.

No passport photos here! The employees were quick and helpful in processing our passport application, but we did have to go to CVS and get a photo to bring back.

Would give 0 stars if that was an option. Service here is HORRIBLE. I simply placed my mail on hold, as i am a renter and the key to my mailbox was not working. I come in to pick up my mail that states via tracking ‘held at post office’ and gives the time and date that it was delivered to the post office. The one man who works behind the counter here acts as if it is out of his job description and a burden to simply, walk to the back and get my mail and bring it up front. I’m not sure if it’s because i’m a female, or because i’m young- but he is constantly trying to come up with an excuse to send me away or as to why he cannot help me. He tries to tell me that my mail is not there, or that i am wrong, even though EVERY single time, it IS there and is eventually brought up to me by someone else, once he is done wasting my time. I was fed up with it last time and asked him if there was someone else who can help me. He sends an older lady up front who simply- walked to the back, got my mail, and brought it up front to me. It’s a miracle. Like seriously, what is so hard? is that not part of your job? He is constantly rude for no reason and doesn’t seem to want to do his job at all. He should be reviewed and fired if you want my honest opinion.

No issues with staff when I go in to mail things. Reason for the ones star is because out of five or six times I’ve put my mail on hold, they have actually held it only once. Everytime I’m out of town they deliver it daily while I am gone. Thankfully, I have a good neighbor who checks, because he knows that this post office can’t seem to get this right. I’ve been stationed all over and never had this issue before the Burke Post Office.

Absolut terrible mail service , the mail carrier does not complete his work he leaves mail anywhere on the property , he drops package at the wrong address and resident complain everyday about missing mail and packages , have complained several time but no assistance with mail delivery to correct address on package. lazy lazy . SMH people looking for they stuff ...it has their address on it to take it to them do not leave at the office or door. this is not our stuff ..this is crazy . terrible , these people some are handicap and can not retrieve their items they thought would be sent to them.

Wanted to give a shout out to Javonte and Viveca. Had a packaged that went international and took over several months since customs denied the shipment and had to be returned to sender. During this whole process both Javonte and Viveca reached out and assured they will keep an eye on my package and made sure it gets back to the sender. They have been very helpful and patience during the whole process. Thank you again. ??

The USPS location on Burke Rd is a dependable choice for postal services. The staff here are notably efficient and courteous, consistently going out of their way to assist with mailing and packaging needs. The facility is kept clean and organized, which facilitates a smooth flow of customers even during busy hours. Though wait times can vary, the commitment to service from the staff makes up for any delays. Highly recommended for their professionalism and helpfulness.

I’ve been doing business here for 17 years. Today I came in to do a mailing (3rd time in 2 weeks) and was told that the person who does these is still out. I asked for a supervisor and this lady came around the corner and started screaming at me. When I asked for a supervisor, she refused to send one out. She became physical and literally tried to choke me!! Check your cameras!! THIS LADY JUST ASSAULTED ME!!!!! She refused to give me her name but I do plan on filing a report with Fairfax County Police! What an unbelievable experience!!
