Hotel Cape Charles is a very nice, smaller hotel with a lot of personality, considered by many the best hotel in the area. The rooms are modern, extremely clean, and no two are the same. They offer different features, with some rooms having a balcony facing the street where you can see the water, and some larger apartment-sized rooms with a full kitchen and full-size refrigerator. Rooms are very spacious with ample spacing, wood floors, and well-put-together bathrooms. The hotel is in a prime, ideal location conveniently located on the Main Street, directly in the downtown, providing very easy access to the beach, restaurants, and bars, with everything a short walk away. The staff are wonderfully attentive, super friendly, very helpful, and kind, always going above and beyond. The hotel offers great value with extra amenities like beach chairs and towels, an outdoor shower, golf carts for guests with a minimum stay, and bikes. There is room in the back to roam with family and pets, plus seating outside and an awesome common outdoor area. A continental breakfast is served, though it is noted as very light. Overall, it is a very quiet and friendly hotel that is helpful, welcoming, and a great addition to the area.
