“Very nice, clean, well stocked store. Very polite staff and all shelving is low and labeled with decorative hanging signs to make finding products easy. Only have it four stars because prices seemed a bit higher than I was used to; however, since all of the liquor stores in the area are "state-pwned" there's probably not much "price comparing" that can be dine. Overall very nice experience.”
“Always a friendly staff. The store floor layout is easy to assess and make quick or studied purchases. Selections are smart, arguably intelligent store management and purchasing management. The Rum selection is well crafted toward every mixology for the home or vacation bar and mixologist. Open late hours and seven days a week. Make it plan to check out this downtown neighborhood location!.”

“We have been a patron of Bon Vivant for years. The prices are good and the wine is great. What makes it exceptional is the service and customer care. We simply order wine with little guidance e.g. price point, reds or whites etc and the staff picks the wines and we always amazed.”

“I am updating my review from 3 years ago. The basic reason for the update and 4 stars is the pharmacy. I have been a Kroger customer for decades starting in Ohio where I lived 30 mikes from their Corporate Headquarters in Cincinnati. Stores located close to Corporate Headquarters are always the best because the regionals and store management are always on their toes. They never know when the suits from Corporate will stop by to check on things. Having worked in management in the retail/wholesale grocery industry for 13 years, I can tell you that is a fact. After I moved to the Peninsula I sought out the Yorktown Kroger because of familiarity and the ease of transferring my prescription meds from one store to another. And, then when I moved down from the Peninsula I again looked for the closest Kroger. This Marketplace store is not is not as good as the one I shopped in Ohio. They let many things slide and have ordering issues, especially in produce where they beat the produce to death causing spoilage issues and consequently stocking problems. My biggest complaint is their lack of attention and caring about keeping the electric carts charged and in good repair. As a disabled person I cannot grocery shop without an electric cart and I can seldom find one here. I have started just picking up my groceries curbside or having a competitor deliver to my home. Not my first choice but my only option. However, I have not stopped using the pharmacy. They are extremely efficient. I hear others complain about their pharmacy of choice and I don't experience any of those problems. They even answer the phone by the third ring EVERY time. I recently had to use another pharmacy company, because of supply chain problems, and it was a nightmare. It took 2 weeks to get the prescription filled and I only received it then because Kroger called them and straightened it out. THANK YOU TAYLOR!!! So with all it's flaws I think Barney Kroger would be proud.”

“I have to say the nice lady that took my order over the phone earlier she answered my question and my order was exactly how I wanted it and she was really nice even when I came to pick up my order , the food tasted great ! I’ll be coming back to this location just based off the staff , I have one in my city and I rather drive 30 minutes away just because of the staff ! Keep up the great work”

“2023-11-22 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still a great place to shop. A little more expensive than other stores but more premium products to go with those prices. Freshly cooked pizza, discounted on Monday afternoon and evening. The Asian bar is good at lunch and dinner.2015 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Shop at HT regularly. Usually Thursdays for the Senior discount. Usually a good selection of groceries. Good complement to Food Lion. There are a few items each has that the other doesn't.”

“First time doing pick up at this location I usually go inside. I called like it says to when you pull up in front of the store. The young lady I spoke to just hangs up on me. I had to call back which is when someone else answers They were able to help and brung me my order and apologized. I usually get great customer service there.”

“The Carrollton location of Virginia ABC is staffed by very polite and merchandise knowledgeable people. I always have a great experience here. The store is very bright and clean and always well stocked and never go in without one of the staff giving me some recommendations or being made aware of any sale thats goung on at the time.”
