Get here to go shopping because there's no stores close. It's closed at 7:00 p.m. . Note on door says staffing issues. Think of all the people who are inconvenienced because they can't run their store correctly.

The manager at this store is amazing. She is so sweet and kind. Willing to help you anyway she can. So nice going into a store with a manager that has a smile on her face and so polite.

They need to just go ahead and shut this place down. Went in around 7:30 this evening, the girl working in there smelled like weed and had no customer service, had to say hey multiple times until she responded, so I tried to make conversation with her and she remarked "Trump should have been shot years ago"

Came up from Georgia with my service dog, but the dogs service collar was in the vehicle. Amy the manager came running up to me and said NO DOGS allowed, I told her she was a service dog and my daughter went out a brought her service vest in! She was very rude in the way she ran up saying ( you Can’t bring that dog in here), instead of coming up and saying excuse me but is she a service animal if so she needs her vest on!! DG Market in AXTON,VA……

They lock customers IN the store at 953! Axel rose wanna be got better things to do than be at work at 10 o'clock. Check the cameras! Friday july 28th customers were locked in at 953 having to let themselves out. At 10 o'clock pm they (the employees) peeling out the parking lot. This place is $h!t they don't have a manager worth a squat, stay out of everything (hence incompetent management). Most people out here pass that place and go to convenient store because sadly the gas stations have more in stock than the dollar general do to their lazy dead head incompetent employees

This store is notorious for closing early. My daughter showed up the eve of Thanksgiving to grab one item for me 15 minutes before closing time to have an employee close and lock the door in her face, but the employee also yelled “hell no!“ to my daughter. This eve again, I pull in along with two other vehicles at the same time, 9:47 p.m. when closing time is 10:00, doors locked. Will not be relying on this store in the future.
