i just walked in here for a fedex drop off and could tell the lady at the register wanted nothing to do with my transaction. she denied my drop off and said my label was not scanning. i drove to the dollar general in nokesville and was in and out with no issue. giving two stars because their shop is good service can be shoddy.

Compared to before when it was really difficult to move around it is set up in a very well planned out design and for this type of store I would recommend it over many of the same style companies. I'm going to go back I'll tell you that. mainly because of the reorganization which is done by a very thought out part of their business.

They won't let you use the bathrooms even if you're a customer. They are using them for storage.

I called about 10 times until someone finally answered. I understand it gets busy but the one time they answered and I asked about my order I placed for pickup 4 hours prior, the lady had no idea and hung up after saying let me check. I called back and it was going back to the busy tone. Do not take online pickup orders if they can't be fulfilled and checked if there's an order. I love an hour away and I was going because I'm 30 minutes from work and the other stores didn't have what I needed. This is crazy I have to call another 10 times to get an answer

I am a former employee of this Dollar General . Countless of customers have complained about prices being wrong all throughout the store, as well as the cleanliness of the store.. dust and trash. As a cashier, I cannot do any returns or exchanges without a key carrier, which is my assistant manager or coworker.. Who leaves during their break so if anything were to happen while he's gone, I'm stuck with a line full of customers. Apparently, everyone can have their phones out and headphones in, but I the cashier cannot. Where does the policy say that? I informed my manager that my son is autistic, and my mother is sick and I take care of both of them, I told her that when I got hired because I just moved back to Virginia. I close almost every shift I work getting out at 9:30 or 9:45 PM, and I'm not allowed to be on my phone or have a key to do simple transactions. They will hire you without giving you any proper training or information. They will terminate you without giving you any warnings or written warnings. But have you working six shifts and closing each night.. your boss will put you on schedule for Friday at 8 AM after her being notified that you have to bring your son to school at 9 AM in the morning. She will make you work six days straight and then call you on your one day off to ask if you can work. I gave them hours in advance if I have to call out which is policy. But I was terminated for " Pattern of calling out" well, the only (2) days I've called out were when I got a flat tire, and when I did not have a babysitter. (NO write up or warning) Besides those days, I worked every shift to closing.. So funny, customers have said I've been the best thing at this place in a while. I already know the regulars and their cigarettes and items. They talk about the store a lot. You can't keep five employees because your manager keeps letting them go.. so you have me working six shifts every week closing because you don't have enough employees. Good luck finding coverage now!Avoid this place and save your $$$. They never want to give you your $5 off coupon anyway.

Ok place to shop, but the place itself is a mess. The 4 ladies that work there seem to sit around and not do their work. When you ask about coupons they automatically ignore you. I rather stick to walmart in manassas.

I stop at this Dollar General on my way home on numerous occasions, I really like this store and it's location, Ive always been treated very well by the staff.

I love my country Dollar General. The ladies are so sweet and treat you like family. The new guys are very nice also, they were stocking the shelves and both came to help me at the register. They have everything i need when i need it and keep a lot of product on hand when other stores are out of things.
