Man, I really used to love this place before I moved away years ago. I recently returned to Roanoke and needed a wire harness for a car audio installation....Got the correct harness.....Sort of. An employee was informed of the exact head unit make and model, as well as my vehicle info., and well into the install (on a 2017 Subaru. Those that know, KNOW) I realized I didn't REALLY have the correct harness because it didn't have the back up camera adapter necessary for Subaru. A tad frustrating, but these guys still do good business, and I will remain a customer.

Complete home install done in 2018. Minor issue after 5 years of use. Solved in 15 minutes by knowledgeable technician.

Had a warranty on my AirPod max. i filed a claim in order to get reimbursed on a pair that was still under warranty. Since there are no genius bars locally Apple pointed me towards qualified technicians in my area. Audiotronics was the closest option. I called to tell them my dilemma. They told me immediately it costs more to fix than to replace. I said well is there anyway I can get that in writing to send to apple so I can verify I tried to get them repaired first. They told me that it would cost 99 bux for them to do an "affidavit" explaining anything to do with verification. These guys didn't fix anything, they didn't even look at it, and they wanted to charge me 99 dollars for what basically is a repair receipt. This is horrible business.

From beginning to end the staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable on our security system. We have bought a TV from them, surround sound, outdoor speakers and security system and they’ve always been great to work with and knowledgeable!

After almost an hour on the phone with an Apple tech and he "senior" advisor getting nowhere over a haywire keyboard, they gave up and sent me to AudioTronics. There, "Rick" within minutes, found a simple solution: turn off keyboard "accessibility" shortcuts. Next time I have a problem, I'll take it to Rick, thank you!

I’m 9 months into a home security and Control 4 installation. There has been one problem and ball dropped after another. After being sold on an “amazing system”, and thousands of dollars spent, I was met with months of waiting, empty promises, and horrible communication. I’m still without a functional or useful system after all this time. I honestly had a smarter and better system back when I was using Ring cameras and Alexa for smart home features at a fraction of the cost. This entire ordeal has been a complete waste of time and money and an absolute nightmare to deal with. If you’re looking to install control 4 in your home, I urge you to find a different company to do it. Their install guy, Zach is awesome, but that’s where any level of a good experience stops. Unless you harass them constantly you’ll be waiting months for simple things to be dealt with, you’ll receive subpar equipment at premium prices, or be given the run around when they forget to address issues. Hell, I’m 9 months in and still don’t have a monitored alarm system despite it being brought to their attention multiple times. I’m ready to rip the entire system out just to cut ties and not have to deal with it (or Audiotronics’ employees) anymore. It seems the same frustration I feel is echoed by staff as it was advised to me to contact management in hopes of changes being made. Unfortunately, their installers are left to handle disgruntled and frustrated customers when home sales staff drops the ball, but they can only do so much. Despite our installer taking detailed notes and emailing them to management and sales in front of me, I was never contacted about any of it, so the same issues persist. I’ve requested to speak directly with management and hope to hear from someone soon. As a business owner myself, it takes a lot for me to ever write a negative review, but the lack of professionalism and customer service I’ve received is so below the level of acceptable, I feel obligated to warn others who may be considering spending thousands on a control 4 or home security system with audiotronics.

Love this place and staff. Great equipment and advice. You know it's high-end audio when it's only open until 5pm though, lol. Hard to knock 'em down for that though! 5 stars!

TLDR: Good looks Rick for fixing my laptop and good looks Ian for being so polite and responsive.This is my first experience with Audiotronics and I have to admit, in the beginning I was very skeptical I would be handled with care. My MacBook Pro had some display issues and I called Apple and they weren't able to help me over the phone so they referred me to the Audiotronics store to get it repaired. I went in to drop my laptop off and I spoke to Rick the store's certified Apple technician. Right off the bat Rick seemed rude and felt like he thought he was better than me but I had no choice so I dropped it off and feared that my laptop wouldn't be in good hands. However, I had no choice as I am a student and I couldn't really go anywhere else because it would take too long. I left feeling anxious and the Monday after(I dropped it off on Friday) I checked the reviews online and I saw a lot of negative reviews regarding the Apple product repairs and now I was really scared. When they opened I gave them a call and I spoke to Ian, and I'm not gonna lie I really thought I would be met with some attitude but Ian was so sweet and he was so thoughtful and kind assuring me that my product was in good hands and had the Apple Technician give me a call when he was available. I came back into pick up my laptop and Rick was super sweet, so I'm just going to chalk up that below average experience to me being sensitive. So here is my conclusion to my review. While I was scared, Audiotronics took great care of my laptop and it works like new and it had such a fast turnaround as well. I was told 5 business days and it was legit one. I also want to commend the owner for responding to virtually every review on google and if there was a negative review I could see the owner investigated what had happened and replied to the customer which shows not only how much he or she cares for the customer as well as his employees. Also side note, a lot of people complained about how they were charged for something under warranty, it seems that apple support is very bad at communicating what is and isn't under warranty. Do not blame audiotronics for their fault, and at the same time make sure you know what you're getting into double check with audiotronics what the policy is they aren't scammers, they are professionals, treat them with respect.

The staff at Audiotronics has always been helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I have purchased televisions, car stereos, speakers for my home, speakers for multiple cars, and recently a headphone amplifier; all of which have exceeded my expectations. Scott, Bobby, and Ian have been nothing short of excellent to work with. I've been shopping here for over 20 years and refuse to buy audio equipment anywhere else. Thank you all for the years of quality products and services!

We have had several purchases of various products and with each experience the staff has been extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. Most of the staff have been employees for many years and it so nice to see a friendly face and be recognized as a repeat customer. The staff will also take time to notify us of specials on specific products we have purchased in the past. These days, customer service may be an unpleasant issue with retailers, however the customer service provided at Audiotronics leaves us to feel like we’re a part of their family. Keep up the great work you guys! Show the rest of them how it’s supposed to be done!

From car stereo purchases and installation to home theater equipment and installation, I've never been disappointed. The staff is always professional and knowledgeable. It's good to be able to ask questions and get honest answers instead of the typical BS that the employees at big box stores give you. This is the only place I trust when it comes to anything AV.

I had an install of a stereo system/backup camera in an older Nissan Xterra and I cannot say enough about the professionalism of this team from start to finish. The salesman (Bobby I think) didn't try to up sell me on a system I didn't need for my vehicle, while still getting me an incredible audio system, and the install team was out of this world. I'm not sure that they didn't return my car cleaner than I left it. I've been back and bought a set of Sonos speakers, if you haven't bought those yet....RUN and do it now!

Amazing all around experience,once agian! Always top notch craftsmanship when coming to install and attention to detail. Allowed me to make payments over 60 days or so without any hassle or fees. Will be having them redue all speakers in truck soon. Thanks agian!!
