I bought a mower in Lynchburg with no idea how to get it without a 1600 mile trip. It became effortless after contracting with Rick. Whatever you need that they do, hire them and forget about anyone else. Way finer experience than I expected. Packaging that others in the business could take lessons from.

Rick amd his team somehow packaged an antique dining room table and had it shipped from VA to VT in record time and in perfect condition - all the while keeping in communication. Fantastic service from a highly professional team.

Handle with Care Packaging Store of Roanoke did an incredible job packaging and shipping a piece of antique pottery for me. They retrieved the item from an antique store in Roanoke, securely packaged and double-boxed it, and shipped it for delivery. This fragile and heavy 170-year-old stoneware jug was perfectly packed and arrived quickly and safely. They used very high-quality boxes and materials, did an excellent job securing the item, and did a great job marking the box fragile (with stickers all over the box). The quality of their work is excellent, and I recommend them highly.

The gentleman at this place were amazing. I had won an auction in Radford Virginia and needed items picked within 2 days and I live in Charlotte. I called to see what my options were and they were very professional flexible with the timing extra communicative and and overall very reasonable. I couldn’t get there right away to pick it up so they were willing to work with me on timing. Everything they said they would do they did on time and professionally. I would work with them again every time great experience. It’s so nice to work with people who are pleasant and will deliver what they promise!!

What a great place to ship packages. I would give them a 10 star review if it was at all possible. With the high cost of shipping it's nice that there is one place that gives you great service and is easy to deal with. Love em!!

I recently moved across the country from VA to ID and was planning on just taking a U-Haul. Instead, Rick and his team in Roanoke helped me wrap and ship everything from couches to paintings to boxes of vinyl records with a level of ease, professionalism, and knowledge that I didn't know what possible. Everything arrived out west without a hitch and the entire process couldn't have been easier. 10/10 recommend. Go to Handle with Care for all your packaging and shipping needs!!!

I was struggling with the logistics of moving my daughter across country. One way drop off charges, elevated fuel costs, not to mention driving a box truck 2000+ miles, had me dreading the drive and suffering sticker shock. After some discussion about truck rentals Rick suggested that I pass on some of the heavy lifting to his crew. In the end they had locally picked up, packaged, and shipped my daughters belongings to a sister store near her new home. The receiving store warehoused the shipment and then delivered and unloaded into her new apartment on the date required. When we arrived the bed was set up, the furniture in place, boxes left in appropriate rooms ready to be unpacked, and shipping trash hauled away! Triple AAA service on both ends. Thanks to Rick and his crew for 1st class service at a reasonable price.

$85 to pick a few small things up for me from a auction??? REALLY ????Didn’t package anything just picked the items up from a auction that they were already getting items from and brought it back to their store where I picked them up. All of the items would have fit in a 5 gallon bucket and total cost of them was about what I was charged for them to pick them up. Could have thrown all the items in a box and sent them thru UPS for $50 tops.NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

The worst, most crooked, shipping company there is. Bought 1 single firearm to ship from VA to NC and the charge is over $97.47. This is absolute highway robbery and possibly criminal. I have had guns shipped across the country for $50 which is ok. These people along with farmers auction are taking advantage of people who buy firearms thru auctions. Will never do business with either company ever again.
