Food City has the best meat both quality and prices. I also like the deli for its wide variety of cold cuts and cheeses. And let’s not forget the daily menu variety of prepared food fresh to eat in or take home every day the other markets do not offer. At checkout gas savings appear on your bill and with this economy any savings is helpful. The only issue is the Food City gas station is quite a ways away from the market location

Review: ★☆☆☆☆
I went to Food City recently to pick up a few extra condiments and utensils. Having experienced homelessness in the past, I’ve developed the habit of taking a small amount of extras — a few forks, napkins, and condiments — to make sure I have what I need. It’s something that’s helped me get by and stay prepared.
Instead of showing understanding or basic kindness, the employees laughed at me and made me count out each individual item, saying I’d have to pay for every single one. It was embarrassing, unnecessary, and deeply disappointing. No one deserves to be treated that way, especially over something so small and harmless.
Compassion costs nothing. I hope Food City takes this as an opportunity to treat their customers with more respect and empathy costs nothing

Visited the cafeteria. Husband got meat loat, mac & cheese, carrots and everything was delicious. I had chicken tenders, potatoe wedges,and apples and was also delicious and we both had rolls plus drinks. And the ladies were helpful and very nice.

Went in this morning to buy some groceries and went to pay for them the only thing open was self checkout and I left my card at the house and needing to write a check however the woman was very rude to me and refused to open a register so I left my groceries sitting there I will never shop this store again I will give another food city my business

Deli manger needs to be fired stopped to pick up some dinner every thing was dried up and over cooked not the first time either also the general manger needsto be replaced
