I had a great experience with Vera M. My tax return for 2024 was a major challenge due to improper (lack of) filing by my now retired CPA. Vera & her manager were excellent & were able to successfully help me. They are honest & even felt bad for me because of how my initial taxes were erroneous. I will definitely work with Vera again. Thank you!

If there was a zero I would pick zero. I have used H&R until I had my taxes prepared by Sevilay. She charged me extra without notifying me and received the money directly from my returns. I called and she was not responsive to the issue and told me to wait a year to get a discount on the following year's tax preparation. I called and talked to the office with the supervisor and even the headquarter, and they did nothing to solve this issue. 2 years later the IRS is questioning one of the items in her tax preparation (and that is the very first time I am experiencing in my work life) and I called in to get a representation as stated in the signed agreement and I was told I should do it myself. I would never recommend Sevilay or this office who supports all her wrongdoing for their customers for tax preparations.

I would have given a 5 because Eric was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything he did in preparing my taxes. I am very pleased with his work. The reason why I gave 4 is due to the cost of preparation. I was not expecting to pay almost $400 for tax preparation, especially being a senior citizen. I realize it is not Eric's fault, but Block Advisors prices.

Tax prepare was arrogant and condescending. His only interest was to fill in the blanks on the 1040. He wouldn't explain anything saying only that I needed to educate myself on the income tax system and therefore would not put any effort into discussing how I might reduce my taxes in the future. It was a horrible experience. I have had my taxes prepared by H&R Block for many years but I will never go back.
