I went and definitely got the "whites only" treatment. They would not rent us (minorities) guns after taking the class cause it "rained that day". Even though we just did they exact samething with the rental guns in the training class outside. No worries, I'm not in the habit of supporting racist anyway.

Reasonably priced, low stress skeet shooting.

I recently visited for the clay pigeon shooting and had a fantastic experience. The staff was knowledgeable and ensured a safe environment. The variety of shooting stations and challenging targets kept the activity engaging. Overall, it's a great place for both beginners and experienced shooters to enjoy a thrilling day outdoors. There is also a wide variety of stations to choose from.

Pretty unhappy with bull run shooting center right now. Called ahead and the phone message said they were open until 7:00 p.m. Drove there purchased tickets at 4:40 p.m., got our guns and walked down to the range where we were told they are closed. Why the eff did they sell us tickets then? Called the message again to be sure that it did indeed say they were open till 7:00 in the winter, on Friday. Aholes.

Great place to shoot skeet, trap, or wobble. You can rent a shotgun, ear protection, safety glasses, and purchase ammunition there. Prices are reasonable. It’s a lot of fun!

Really fun shooting range with great service and friendly staff. Mike walked us through the basics in a patient and entertaining manner during the learn to shoot class. We also got some coupons for next time, including a free shotgun rental each which we used immediately after the lesson (but bought ammo). Our group of 5 was perfect to play one game of wobble after our lesson. Overall a fun time to spend an afternoon.

Great place for wobble, trap, and skeet. Reasonably priced. Great price for gun rentals, and you can purchase ammo.

After seeing some of the other reviews I wanted to share my perfect experience at the shooting center. To start, I am an avid shooter, but hadn't shot skeet in 15 years. All the shotgun experience in recent years has been slugs at the range. I brought a friend who had never shot skeet and only slugs at the range as well.I brought a Mossberg 500 pump action 25 inch bird barrel with a holo sight. Had no problems using it.The staff was extremely friendly and educational. The office staff explained the different games, how they work, and their recommendations. They also guided us to rent a shotgun for my friend, as sharing wouldn't be as fun and they were spot on, this wasn't an upsell. The price was more than readonable. The range officers and other shooters were also patient and helpful for our first time. Explained and walked through how everything worked. Even when my buddy made 2 different mistakes, they were firm but respectful and educational. I gave him more attitude than they did.I had zero problems on the day and nothing but exceptional staff and experiences. I will absolutely go back and feel comfortable bringing new shooters.

My friend and I came here and I brought my tactical shotgun and was told I couldn’t fire it. Understood that part, but I was thrown off when one of the gentlemen working here told my friend to clear the gun in front of him and when he did that he informed my friend that we couldn’t shoot at this range after trying to clear it in a RESTRICTED area where there are people walking by which is very dangerous. The gentleman could have simply told us to put the firearm back in my vehicle or clear it in the range rather than in front of the office and it wouldn’t have been an issue. Terrible first impression and never coming back again.

We had the best time here. I'm not familiar with shotguns and have only shot rifles in the past (albeit not very accurate but very consistent) so I took their learning and safety class. Our firearm instructor was Earl and I could not have asked for a better person. He was very encouraging and instructive, never critical but happy to give advice where needed. The other staff I encountered were all very nice and seemed to enjoy their time there. Planning on going back soon!

For a shooting range, specifically for rifle shooting, they quickly denied my 20’ SXP defender, which if you ask for me for an outdoor range, kinda janky. Not comin back (fyi there was nothing in their website stating restrictions on barrel length) just go to Clarke bros or silver eagle they won’t waste your time

Me and my friends went in expecting to have a good time at the range, brought a winchester sxp, then refused to let us shoot, for an outdoor range focused on rifle shooting, they sure did c0ck block our good time

If you are a woman looking to shoot clays I suggest you go elsewhere -- they do not "feel comfortable" with you. I went with a group of four, two men and two women. All experienced. Range officer had the audacity to roll up in a gator and only ask the two women to show him how they shoot. They will make it known women folk aren't welcome one way or another. Management feel free to contact me to rectify.

Great facility in northern Virginia for sporting clays. Well run, very safe and great staff.
