First time customer. Very satisfied with front office and the visit itself. Obvious that they love animals and are very competent. Will definitely be going there.

Great experience. It was our first time coming to caring hands and it was the smoothest vet experience we have had since having our dog. We have a very crazy hyper dog and they made it the least stressful vet visit we have had. Will continue coming to caring hands moving forward.

They are all knowledgable, up to date on the standards-of-care, and truly love the animals. The docs and staff are very friendly, and it is very clear that they love coming to work and interfacing with the patients and clients. Their prices are very fair and don't break the bank. We have 6 animals under their care and they have been our doctors for about 6 years.

My dog has always seen Dr. Clendenin who is absolutely wonderful. Yesterday I saw Dr Arkhipova who was just as good. I was so afraid he was going to have to be put to sleep as he was bleeding rectally. She reassured me he could be cured and after she gave him fluid and some other helpful care he is back to normal. I am so happy with this hospital. I drive from Herndon but every mile is worth it.

Neutered foster dog for Colonial Newfoundland Rescue. They followed up a few days later to check on him. Caring staff. Thank you!

About two years ago, I took my cat here 5 or more times in about 3 months, and they were milking me for money because they knew that I cared about my cat. I followed their recommendations each time, paid for every thing, and they had no idea what was wrong and kept doing the same things and telling me to monitor my cat for worsening symptoms and to come back. My cat became in critical condition, so I took her to a different place, and the other vet determined she had a food allergy and recommended an enema within one appointment, the problem was resolved. I would never trust this place or their doctors with any animals.

I was recommended to here by my mother who brings her dog here. This was jands down one of the if not the best experiences I have ever had at the vet. From the ease of scheduling to the moment you walk out the door. Everyone here is absolutely amazing, kind and truly cares about you and your pet. I wouldn't take my Kitters anywhere else.

We went to Caring Hands for the first time in May 2023 due to our Shiba Inu having a cracked tooth. Our previous vet stated that they were not able to extract his tooth due to a lack of specialized equipment. We have been on the lookout for a new vet for a while as our previous one did not seem that thorough, dismissed our concerns, and never explained things well. They also took vacations pretty frequently since we always seemed to see a new doctor not affiliated with their practice each time we came in for a visit. We were referred to Caring Hands by a friend, and we couldn't be happier with the treatment and service! Dr. Arkhipova and the vet tech/assistant were super gentle with our dog, and Dr. Arkhipova was very thorough in her explanation of the injury on our dog's tooth and was great about answering all of our questions. We had another visit this morning, about a month after our first visit, due to an emergency situation yesterday. I called Caring Hands yesterday morning and they were able to make an appointment this morning, so we are incredibly thankful for the flexibility! We saw Dr. Kulbaski, and again we got a very thorough explanation & examination of our dog.We appreciate the transparency of the cost of services, as well as the care that Caring Hands provides. We truly believe that these vets care about our dog and strive to provide the best quality care for him. We couldn't recommend this animal hospital enough for anyone in need of a vet!!

I was in urgent need of a new primary vet for my critical senior cat after dismissive care from our vet of 7 years. Caring Hands got me an appointment the very next day and provided detailed and compassionate care. They were able to relieve my cat's discomfort and collaborate with a specialist to provide medication. I'm so glad I found Caring Hands!

Thankful to this practice for giving my sweet Bailey an extra 7 months of life that wasn’t expected. We had taken her to Banfield at Fair Lakes for years, and with her declining position they only gave me the options of euthanasia or all measures / full cardiac eval and work up - which I was not interested in due to her old age vs. quality of life (something I had explained to them without much understanding). Soon after the disappointment from Banfield, I was recommended to Caring Hands by a friend who also takes her dog there. I immediately was impressed by the ease and urgency of getting an appointment as Bailey was declining with heart failure symptoms.Dr Kulbalski was incredibly helpful / understanding with the way that I wanted to approach Baileys care - I wanted her symptoms to be managed / for her to be comfortable, without doing extreme and invasive testing, etc. She started Bailey on a few meds to manage her symptoms with follow up on her blood work / overall well-being. On the meds, Bailey was able to breathe easier, have renewed energy that was lost for some time, and spend her last few months enjoying the breeze of car rides, lots of belly rubs, sunbathing and the other joys of being a dog.Bailey died this past Thursday, but I am so grateful for the extra 7 months we were given with her after being seen by Caring Hands. I truthfully thought she would die in December after being seen at Banfield with no reasonable aftercare, but I am so glad I brought her here for a second opinion and a plan that was collaborative and reasonable for Baileys situation as a 13 year old pup.Thank you to all the great staff here, you guys are doing great work. As an healthcare provider myself I have been impressed by all of the professionalism and expertise at this practice and if I ever decide to be a pet mom again in the future I will be coming here.

This Vet is a joke! We brought our dog to this Vet thinking they would be better than our previous Vet. Not true! Our dog has Cushings and we noticed he was lethargic, losing his eyesight and peeing in the house more. We brought our dog here for the first time. After looking at him the Vet said he probably has cancer and he's going to need all this bloodwork to figure it out and then we have to make an appointment with their specialist. Granted, we want to get our dog the treatment that he needs, but they were trying to get us to spend all this money immediately. After us discussing this sounds like all this is going to be expensive, then the Vet suggest a less invasive bloodwork. Why not give us ALL the options up front. Not after we sit there going back and forth. So we decide to go with that. Then we find out later that he had diabetes onset from the cushings and has glaucoma. They tell us we need all these things and to keep bringing him back. We ordered his insulin which we have to give him twice a day, the syringes, antibiotics, eye drops, glucose strips, glucose monitors, basically Everything they tell us to. This vet in now become notorious for hounding us, calling us constantly, bring him in. The bills are racking up in this place after constantly bringing him in for ridiculous charges just to see him. They did a blood test WITHOUT telling my husband prior to doing it and when my husband goes to check out they tell him oh you need to pay for this too! If they would've told up before then we probably would've agreed, but they did it just expecting us to pay. They told us to come again to teach us how to give our dog insulin and we were waiting probably two hours just sitting in the waiting room as the vet techs go in and out. The vet tech Finally comes in and it was literally a 5 minute demonstration which we could've YouTubed, but they keep telling us no you HAVE TO COME IN. That 5 minute demonstration cost almost $100! And they wonder why we don't want to keep coming in for their joke charges. Our dog's one eye developed a scab, so of course we bring our dog in. The vet Tells us it's not anything we did, it's just his eyes and the condition he has. Then she proceeds to tell us we should think about euthanizing him. Immediately my husband says no way. He's not at the point where he should be put down. Our dog was active again, eating normal, going to the bathroom, barking, basically acting normal again besides losing his eye sight. The vet said it's our decision and we go home with more meds. Our dog is acting fine, not a dog who needs to be euthanized. We had a dog prior that we had to put down, so we know exactly when it's time to do that. We're not inexperienced dog owners. This vet continues to call us constantly that they have to see him. Nothing is going to change by them seeing him just a few weeks later from when you last saw him just to say oh he's doing the same. When my husband calls back and tells them he's doing fine, still the same, taking all him meds, eating and still active. They basically say the Vet needs to see him or they're calling ANIMAL WELFARE! Are you kidding me, you think we're neglecting our dog after spending all this money on him and bringing him into you guys! It's a joke! My husband basically says do it cause this is ridiculous now. He said if you want to see him, we'll bring him now but we're not paying for your ridiculous fees just for you guys to see him for a few minutes to say he's doing the same. You can't force us to bring him in and then call us to threaten to call Animal welfare. My husband said have the vet call us then. They vet never called us, but the next day Animal welfare came to our house which we welcomed immediately in, let her see our dogs and explained what a joke caring hands has become. She looked at our dogs, saw all the Meds we've been giving him, saw our other dog was good, and 100% agreed with us!!! Basically said sorry for coming, but had to. We

Amazing care. I recently switched here from another hospital for my dog and cat. For the past few years(I think there was a change of management) we were being treated like money bags without much concern for our dog. My dog is old and in so much pain in his rear legs.On our first visit to Caring Hands, Dr. Kubalski was kind, took my concerns seriously, and prescribed a first-line medication, and said upon second visit if it isn't helping we will look into other options. I was provided with a detailed, itemized receipt and I was asked BEFORE they gave a service they charge for(at my old vet, this was an issue).Upon my second visit, Dr. Arkhipova was so nice and so was the vet tech. They listened to my concerns and took them seriously, in addition they treated my small, old, hard-of-hearing dog, Tug, with kindness. Dr. Arkhipova prescribed a new medication for arthritis, and it is helping him so much, it has turned our house happy again. He can again go for walks to the river, which makes him so happy. Thanks Caring Hands, unknown blonde tech, Dr. Kubalski, and Dr. Arkhipova!

My experience with this clinic has been excellent so far. They were able to get my service dog, Cheddar, in for a sick visit the same day I called due to a cancellation (even as a new patient). He's been a little nervous around new people lately, but he absolutely loved Dr. Kulbaski and vet tech Dena. They were both so kind and caring with him. Their protocol to prevent spreading illness was great as well, and they've been amazing with answering my many follow up questions via email. So grateful to have found such a good vet close by that I can trust with caring for my sweet boy.
