“Real dollar stores don't really exist anymore since inflation has increased their costs significantly; i.e., Very few items at the store actually cost a dollar. Most of them are $1.25 to $1.50. Kind of ironic for a dollar store eh?
This is a decent dollar store, not the best or worst I've ever seen. I frequently go there to get happy birthday balloons since they're about $1.50 compared to $5 to $10 at the local grocery store gouge. Unfortunately about a third of the time I go there for a balloon they are out of helium for some reason.
If this review was helpful to you, please give it a thumbs up.”
“I am a huge fan of Dollar Tree. My regular location is Lorton VA one. But few days ago visited this location with a friend. Since Dollar Tree is no longer a real dollar store fill little sad. $1.25 is understandable but, now a days most of the items are priced much higher. Still after roam around for a while found few things reasonably priced. Like their collections.”
“I order 3 cases of cat food every other month or so. I always have to lug out to car because carts can’t go out of store. Never has an employee offered to help. Until today ❤️ Rosa kindly offered to help carry out and walked w/ me to car. Thank you. Keep up the kindness.”
“Convenient and has a wide variety of items. April, the manager is friendly. Other Staff appear to be non productive and non attentive to the stores needs for organization. Probably due to the distraction of their cell phone usage, especially at the cash register. This store is often unorganized.”
“While I live within 1/8th of a mile from the Centerville store, I come to this one for several reasons, first, they always have in stock items that are important like paper towels, toilet paper, foil, you get the rest. Second, I'm an adved crafter and they always have a great selection of crafting necessities. I've yet to see an empty hook. They even have stuff that I've never seen at my local store. Staff are always busy stocking, cleaning and ringing up customers. If I ask a question, it actually gets answered. I don't get that far away stare as if to say- I have no idea what your talking about. They actually walk me to where the item is that I'm looking for. While at Dollar tree you ever may have considerable accounts of clutter and items tossed all over, this store keeps up with the disorder as best they can. Customers that drop, spill and make huge messes without cleaning up after themselves takes away from them tending to more important things, all in all they truly do their best. That's why I travel the extra miles, they take pride in their work and seem grateful to have a job.”
“Awesome customer service here. I started working in the area about 3 years ago, and this store was rough. Went in this afternoon and it looks immaculate in comparison. On the way out, I spoke to Michael about trading cards, who was super helpful and a great dude overall. Also want to mention Walter who was equally helpful and a pleasure to speak with. Excellent, professional staff at this location.”
“I just walked out of this Dollar Tree with the best experience I’ve ever had at a Dollar Tree before! First of all the store was well organized, and well stocked. When I went to check out the gentleman who checked me out was super friendly and efficient. He quickly scanned all my items, and then realize that on one of them the package was slightly open. Immediately he went and got me a new one without being asked. When I thanked him he said “my pleasure”… wow! I’ve never heard that from anybody at a store like this before. Usually, they won’t even talk to you or make eye contact. Note to management: hang onto this guy as long as you can! He’s a gem. Nice job.”
“Great store to grab household items. They have a lot of seasonal decorations too. This place is great for cleaning supplies, snacks etc. They were limited on toilet paper when I went today. They open up at 8:00 a.m.”
“Emily R. I was there when this happen. You are being dishonest. Your mother and you was rude to cashier and Manager at the time. Manager Was being kind and supportive. As well i saw you put the Glass all over close to the front door. Before you write a review be honest what you wrote!”
“As far as Dollar Stores go, yes the lines are long and the shelves are messy, sometimes not restocked for a while. The folks that work here are top notch and their corporate overloads need to pound some sand and put a couple more people on the clock, and the customers (some) need to learn how to shop respectfully and not trash the place and steal everything. Stephanie always brightens my day and it's a blessing when I get to see her. The five stars are specifically for her. Whoever is in the office running the show (torturing good hard working people) gets no stars and needs to spend some time actually working in the stores experiencing what it's like.”
“This place has so many difft. Products to buy: first aid, frozen foods, candy, chops, beer, clothes, garden supplies. Kitchen utensils, toys, pet food, dishes, collars, and more”
“The best DT in the area and I’ve been to a lot. So clean and organized. And the customer service is great. I buy two carts full for donations and Sacola the manager always opens up another register so people don’t wait in long line behind me. She and Miss Dani are great.”
