I have been going to Virginia Tire and Auto for over 5 years and have always found the quality of service and professionalism to be best in class. Kay, in particular provided excellent service when I was there yesterday for an oil change. Keep up the great work.

I unfortunately got a screw in my tire that I had purchased as a new full set last year. Kay was a wonderful help and made me feel comfortable driving home for the evening after she had the tire inflated for me. Not to mention patient with my hangry son. I was able to get my tire first thing the next morning and she ensured I received my credit from my warranty and helped me add a new warranty for my new tire. She made an unfortunate situation into an easy fix which was very comforting. She was great!

My first time there to have my emissions done. It was quick and had no issues. One plus they have against a lot of other places is they have a spot for kids to play. It was perfect as I had my daughter with me and she loved it.

Staff appears to be better and nicer than the one in Gainesville. Website a lil iffy with the scheduling, but at least they will call, listen, and talk to you about it.

There is a young man named Trevor who works there ( Virginia Tire and Auto, Centreville location), who has impeccable customer service. Everyone that walked through that door he greeted and acknowledged while checking out another customer or while answering the phones. Everyone that was waiting on their vehicles he kept them updated. This young man was professional and polite. I had to write this review because it's been awhile since I've experienced good customer service.

I recommended this site to a friend of mine to get his inspection done on his Mazda. Turns out, they charge $20 for inspection!They failed his vehicle for small marker lights. They weren’t out, the orange film was just slightly wearing out. The inspector failed him and put a rejection sticker on the car. My friend asked for a quote to replace the bulbs and they quoted him around $100 to replace 2 tiny markers that were still working but just had the film slightly worn. With the rejection sticker, my friend drove to a local parts store, got the bulbs for around $5, put them in in less than 5 minutes, went back to get the rejection sticker off from the shop, and they charged him an extra $1 this time for “re-inspection”. That’s the last time I recommend anyone to this site. I had heard that it’s been going downhill over the years after the ownership change, but I didn’t imagine it was this bad. I remember they used to focus on the customer service aspect of their day to day. Looks like that is no longer the way they do things.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Went in for a car inspection and it got rejected for marker lights of all things. MARKER LIGHTS!! They then quoted me $100 for them to get it replaced so my car could pass!! I asked them if I could quickly get my own bulbs and replace them myself from advanced auto which is not even 5 miles down the road, and they refused to give any leniency. Having been a former veteran employee back when Myron the founder was running things, I'm shocked at the complete and utter downgrade in understanding and generosity to the customer. It wasn't just talk the talk, but actually walk the walk in terms of treating the customer as part of family. I'm honestly surprised it's still in business with Mike and Julie Holmes running it like this. I wanted to believe they weren't as bad as their reputation had gotten, but they sure did prove me wrong. I will not be going back and neither should you.

They charged me- $70.83 for Cabin Air Filter Replacement- $64.60 for Engine Air Filter ReplacementThey also charge all their customers for additional $15.07 under the name of "Shop Supplies".I wish I could have reviewed the price before allowing to make them the replacement.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

I just had all three of our vehicles oil changed and all three were in a timely manor!Communication was punctual and staff was kind. Shout-out to Kay at the front desk who not only had my name memorized but also other customers as well!Kay had a very strong/welcoming personality and made this location VA tire/auto stand out to me.

Have been going to Va Tire for over 20 years and have spent tens of thousands on our 7 cars in that time span.Increasingly shady business here. They’ll give you an estimate and then call back and add a bunch of items once you agree to move forward.Same is true if you fail a safety inspection. They’ll recommend services and then come back and tell you there’s other items you need to get fixed or it won’t pass.Service is not team oriented. If you’re concierge is out for the day or for the week no one else will help you because they won’t receive a commission.Will no longer be a customer of this establishment or any of their other locations.

Very good experience here. Tire blew out. Called them to check if they had the size I needed. They did, and they were able to help me quickly which I appreciated as I had some serious time constraints.

Stopped by to get inspection taken care of for my car. I was quoted an hour wait but ended up waiting over 2hrs. I’ll definitely take my car somewhere else next time.

Made an appt for an oil change and tire rotation for Thur 9:30am. I showed up at 9 , and asked if I could get a state inspection as well (They will not let you schedule these). They said sure, there were 2 more cars in front of me. Ok. I left, and came back at 10:30. My truck had not moved, no inspection had been done. I waited until 11 before asking them about a status. They said I was next for inspection, THEN they would do the oil change and rotation. 1. Doesn't take an hour to do an inspection. Their website even states it takes about 25 minutes. (Plus I heard them tell someone else on the phone that inspections were quick today because they had two inspectors)2. Why not knock out my oil change and rotation during my appointment time of 9:30, and then do the inspection? Around 11:30 another guy at the front desk who had noticed me sitting there, asked what vehicle I was waiting on. I told him, and he looked puzzled. I explained everything, and that I had been waiting since 9am. Also, by this point, people were coming in, getting inspections, and leaving within an hour. I mentioned that as well. He went to check, and said they were finishing up the inspection now, and I was next for Oil Change. About noon, they asked me again what I was waiting on. I said, Inspection, Oil Change, and Tire Rotation. So the inspection was done, the oil change was in progress, but a tire rotation would have to wait until a lift freed up, and asked me if I wanted to come back another time for the rotation or just skip it. NO! I am here now. Please do what I originally requested. A little after 1pm, I was told everything was done. The manager, who was VERY aware that I was unhappy checked me out, and never once offered an apology or anything. VERY Unprofessional, and I will NEVER return to this business again..

I would give them a zero if I could. The level of customer service has really gone down over the past year.Made an online appointment and upon arrival at 430 was required to wait 10 minutes in line and then the he/she asked how can they help me and I said I have a 430 appointment and was told that I was 15 minutes late and that they would have to keep my car overnight. I was in shock because all I had was a nail in my tire, the unexperienced person advised me that I could pick up my car the next day at which point I left to another tire place no appointment and they were able to plug the tire in 20 minutes and I was done for the day. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I would give them a zero if I could, and I will never be returning to this place ever again due to the lack of unacknowledged employee, and due to the way I was treated and the disrespect as a customer was very unprofessional.

This place is the worst. We have been using this location for all our car needs and the quality of service had deteriorated to absolute rock bottom. It’s a shame because the location is close so it’s very convenient. It’s the only reason we’ve stayed with them for as long as we have despite everything. This last service we had was the final straw. We went for a tire rotation and the tires are all over the place. The tires were making sound. They can’t even rotate tires correctly. I’m so fed up with their service that, I didn’t bother going back to have them fix it. Instead I went to my dealer’s service center and got it redone. I would highly recommend for you to stay away from this location.
