What a horrible business. Stated hours don’t mean much, they’re there when they’re there. The gate may or may not work. Forget ever getting them on the phone.
And expect them to jack up the rent without providing any prior notice. By more than 50%.
Oh, and they’ll add insurance that you never requested. And of course, they don’t tell you in advance.
True dirtbags that deserve less than one star. The world would be better served if they went out of business.

I’ve been renting an outdoor spot for my trailer from Air and Space storage for more than a year, almost 2, Rent kept getting increased what seems like every 6 months but I thought it was normal, and this location was somewhat convenient for me. Unfortunately my trailer was vandalized a few times and someone urinated and defecated right next to my trailer (I have photos!!) but management tried to stay on top of it and at least attempted to correct the vandalism.
Recently I think management has changed because no one seems to be available or working at this location because I needed to speak to someone on the phone about getting a bigger spot or maybe an enclosed unit. 2 weeks ago I started calling and it took several days for someone to call me back. This week it has been 5 business days since I have been calling their main number leaving several messages and still no call back, and even though I’m calling during business hours the answering system states that I’m calling outside business hours and to leave a message. I never received a call back……. Until a few minutes ago, after complaining to corporate. I had to cancel, it’s unprofessional not to answer calls or communicate with your clients, I wanted to give you more business. Fortunately I was able to find a cleaner, safer storage facility for much less $$ in Aldie.

After I was at the storage unit for four months, they raised the price $90. This is outrageous. And I rented a storage unit from self storage that was 15 x 10 and the one at air and space was actually smaller and I had to stuff my things in. This is an absolute rip off. I would not use the storage unit at all. They keep raising the rent and you’re going to lose your shirt. I’ve tried to call them five times and they never call me back if you have your stuff in there get it out before they raise the rent

Very impressed by the professionalism of the General Manager at this facility and the grounds as a whole! From our first interaction, Edward was extremely thorough and communicative and helped my family through each step of the way. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Disgusting! We came to Air & Space a couple weeks ago, signing up was easy. THEN the very next day after my husband got off of work late we were moving mattresses that I can't move by myself bc I am pregnant. We got to the storage unit right at 10pm, but the property manager who also says he is higher up manager said we cant be there past 10pm, or 1030pm, it's Fairfax Law he stated. I asked for an email copy or paper copy of the lease and said we needed 10 to 15 more minutes. Well 15 minutes later the cops showed up! Thank God my father has done seminars for the FFX police & the police know us from the past, but from nothing bad. Cops were nice as could be and said that if you have a business that I could get 24 hour access.
Well the very next day the property manager Ed comes by and I thought he was going to bring me the lease and instead he said "no hard feelings, just business." My husband brought up what the cop said about having a business and getting 24 hour access, bc I do have a T-shirt business & was storing my tshirts and othrr things from my business there but then Ed states, "I would never give you 24 hour access, no matter what business you have."
Well after that comment I started to notice when I came in during the day when I would stop by, when you come in, there is 4 storage units open, 1 for stoves, 1 for refrigerators, 1 for washers and dryers, and 1 scrap. They are there ALL DAY! IT IS ILLEGAL ILLEGAL ILLEGAL TO RUN YOUR BUSINESS OUT OF A STORAGE UNIT!
MAKES ME THINK ED IS BIASED AND GETTING PAID UNDER THE TABLE TO KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT.
What I forgot about is last year I came by a storage unit to help someone move stuff out of a unit that was auctioned off. This person I knew was cool with Ed. Then I remembered I saw Ed at that persons house. Well then now we found out Ed almost lost his job bc of this person. We had stopped talking to this person ourselves last year bc of all the shady business he was doing. But now Ed thinks we are friends with these ppl and still talk to them, but we don't, bc we don't live like that. But now Ed is taking out his aggression on us. Will come back to finish this review. I will delete this review
if Ed takes the eviction away.

Have had great service at air&space self storage. But it got better after Ed Kent became manger.
