We have been taking our dogs here for over 4 years. We have great pyrenees and they are not always the easiest to take to the vet. But Dr. M just has away with animals. She gets our pups taken care of and out in no time. The techs are also awesome, when our older dog pasted they showed us so much kindness and support. Even called to check in on us a few days after his passing. That was a first for me and I knew this was where we wanted to stay for our animal care.

The doctor in this location is the best. I drive 40 minutes every time I have to take my furry baby to them because of the treatment she gets. The vet understands you when you have an emergency and always finds time to see your pet. I asked her to make sure to shave my dog in a spot that’s not visible, to not mess up her look (for dental treatment anesthesia). Even that she managed to accommodate. I’m awed at the passion and dedication that the doctor displays with the pets and with the people.

I've always'd loved Banfield pet hospital cuz they care a lot and its always conveniently close 2 home. The best part is it's within a pet store so u have everything under 1 roof when u need it. Groomers, hospital, hotel and store all in 1 place its really nice. The only complaint I would have would be the prices but other than that I love it. Especially the hospital, no need 2 find a hospital anywhere else or groomers anywhere else in order 2 waste gas cuz its all rgt there. And all areas care a lot I think. I've never had a bad experience with any of it, especially the hospital part of it. I love Bandfield its great ?

You have to be careful when you come here. My husband and I never fail to get charged for things that we weren't notified about before being charged. Constantly finding out after the fact that we bought something no one mentioned or there's a fee over $100 that no one can be bothered to say a word about until I call asking why I'm the world they charged over $100 more than I agreed to pay.

The staff is very nice and helpful! I had to get a last minute rabies vax and FAVN blood test for my cat to take to Japan with me and they were so accommodating and patient with my requests. Because of their help, I successfully flew to Japan with my cat with no paperwork hiccups!

Dr Thavamathi is incredibly inconsiderate and disrespectful. She fell behind in her schedule and unnecessarily kept my dog in a cage for 10 hours, when his procedure only took 1 hour. It is completely understandable that emergencies take precedence over routine procedures, but to not communicate that to me was unacceptable! I could have brought my dog home and brought him back later or on another day, rather than leave him in a cage for 10 hours unnecessarily! I am SO LIVID!

Never again. Took my girl in for a dental cleaning and very pointedly left my wife’s name and number to be called in case anything came up. Got a voicemail from Mallakova about recommending my girl needing something - I don’t have access to my voicemail because of work and got it after I’d gotten off 2+ hours later and of course it was too late by then to do the recommendation. I go to pick my girl up and I complain about my wife not getting called to the CSC who looked at our file and she said the number and everything was right there! Malkaloka or whatever comes out to inform of how things went and proceeds to blame it on the CSCs, no apologies, NOTHING. If a vet can’t be trusted to follow instructions for a simple thing then no way in hell am I taking my girl back there!

My experiences here are super hit or miss. Some staff is excellent and some clearly hate their job and can be very abrasive. They do not remind you about vaccinations being due and didn't schedule my puppies follow up vaccinations after my last appointment which is super odd to me. I ended up forgetting when it was due and being late on it. I appreciate the affordability of banfield but when my puppy package expires I will be finding a vet with a more consistent team. Thank you to those who work there trying to make it a better place! To those who are clearly miserable there, please leave!

Banfield in Chantilly, needs to be shut down.Dr Hanna Maskalkova, misdiagnosed, a 4 1/2 month old puppy. Dr. Maskalkova cared more about the bottom line. My son, took Freddy to Banfield. To establish a vet. Banfield took blood test, and came back to my son who is 25 and his fiancé is 21. Banfield came back with we need more blood test. When the blood test came back, Banfield, said we need a sonogram.( more money) It looks like Freddy’s liver is messed up. Mind you before Freddy went to Virginia with my son. Freddy had a clean bill of health from the vet down here in South Carolina. I got involved as my sons mother, because my son was feeling that they were taking advantage of him because he was young. And they were being disrespectful and rude, and not explaining what they were doing. And then kept charging him extra money. After the sonogram . I was told from the doctor herself that we will know everything that’s going on with Freddys liver. She calls me with the results and says I don’t know what’s going on so we need a CT scan. It could be liver, shunt, or it could be Microvascular dysplasia. That was the Friday before memorial day. I said enough is enough. I drove up to Chantilly, picked up Freddy and drove him back down to South Carolina. To go to a vet that cares about pets, and not money unlike Banfield in Chantilly. The doctor from banfield, told me Freddy , looks good .(lies) Freddy could not lift his head up. He was lethargic and not moving. I brought him back South Carolina. Freddy saw the vet in South Carolina, well he was moving after he was treated ,Freddy started lifting his heap up. WE HAD HOPE. But the damage to his liver from what Banfield in Chantilly and Dr. Maskalkova have done. It was too great. we had to put Freddy down.Mind you when Freddy was with Banfield within the three week span. Almost 4 weeks. They killed our Freddy. Our vet in South Carolina, found out that Freddy had an enlarged heart, and fluid in his stomach. Which I sent the x-rays to someone in corporate. Which Banfield said that he was all good none of that showed up and all the test and the sonogram that they gave him nothing showed that. In the paperwork in the sonogram, it states no liver shunts. I have that paper. They’re liars and they’re cheaters and they will kill your pets. The doctor is negligent, disrespectful and rude. The whole management team. And a receptionist name.Sepi was rude and disrespectful and yelling at me.Corporate had someone call me by the name of Cesar Colon, he was biased, basically telling the doctor is a good doctor. He’s work with her. Dismissing the proof that I have that this doctor was negligent. We spent so much money to get Freddy healthy, believing that she had the best interest for Freddy. But the doctor only had money money money. I’m my opinion! They don’t care about your pets. Or the emotional stress they put you through or The financial stress they put you through.I speak for Freddy, he will be heard. Someone will be accountable. The first photo is a photo of Freddy under the care of Banfield. I have videos , of Freddy was breathing terribly. And then I have another video of him back with me and breathing just fine. I sent it to Cesar, but they do not care.

Love the veterinarian! She's super friendly and loves our dog. The front desk staff is a hit or miss. I've been reprimanded for being late AND for being early. I recommend the Banfield health care it covers almost all preventative maintenance shots, procedures and wellness appointments.

Banfield is awesome. They're timely, keep you on track for appointments, shots, etc. The veterinarian is friendly and genuinely cares for our Maximus. I feel like he's in great hands with her.

I have been taking my cat for regular checkups to this place for about two years, Dr. Maskalkova is the best specialist who knows her job and loves animals. On 12/28/22 I brought my cat with vomiting and diarrhea (of course, without a appointment, as her condition began to deteriorate sharply). Dr. Maskalkova was at the workplace, she immediately went out to examine my cat and provide assistance, I had to return on 12/30/22 as the medicine ended and my cat's behavior and condition worsened (again without an appointment, as it is impossible to predict such things). At the workplace that day was Dr. Thavamathi, they refused to accept me because they said that they had an appointment for the rest of the day. They weren't rude but I was very hurt, they just gave me a list of ER for pets. And every time when there is not a Dr. Maskalkova, I have difficulties with other doctors (even if this is a scheduled visit), I wanted to express my gratitude to her, since not all doctors approach their work with the same professionalism and love
