One of BOA customers gave me a check payable to me to cash. I went to BOA, Chantilly branch with my valid picture id and a debit card(as secondary id). Teller (K.L.) spent extra time with the lady-customer before me and kept on talking in her own foreign language because she was from her ethnicity. She made me waiting in the line for extra time. The moment I reached at her (K.L.); she changed her face into 'long-face'. Not once, not even twice; she asked me three times; why I do not go to my own bank and deposit it? She should have known; why your customer gave me BOA check to cash it! Body language is very important in every interaction and it was noticeable. Then she added; there will be a fee. The way she made her statement was 'rude' and 'unprofessional'. Unexpected and surprisingly she came out of teller area and 'attacked' me. She (K.L.) made me uncomfortable in the lobby publicly. An officer (S.A.) got involved and she asked me to go to next window and I did. I cashed the check and walked out. I have already spoken to the person; who gave me the check. She is very upset because of an unpleasant experience from BOA, Chantilly branch.

Atrocious service. Incompetent and illogical. Absolutely the worst, wasted 90 mins of my time having me go back and forth to get a simple Fairfax county document notarized when I was short on time. Wife’s signature was on document beforehand because she was out of the country which I explained, they told me that’s not allowed. I said fine, printed new copy and have it notarized for me only. Then the nightmare happened - they start filling stuff wrong and CROSSING STUFF OUT EVERYWHERE. It was fine to cross out the second resident signature, since she wasn’t present. I said okay, lease was modified, no problem. But then these two start crossing out leasing office signature line portions like some sort of crime was about to be committed in front of their eyes. Silly folks with no logical reasoning. Note to corporate - stop allowing employees to write fake 5 star reviews (we all see it, at least try to mix up the verbiage on those reviews if you’re going to be blatantly deceiving) and TRAIN BOTH NEW AND CURRENT STAFF ON PROPERLY NOTARIZING DOCUMENTS! Typos everywhere. Wrong expiration year 2023 written, mismatching notary stamp of 2026. Didn’t even know that the blank spots are to be filled out with CITY/COUNTY OF CITY/COUNTY NAME, followed by STATE and wrote in STATE OF STATE in the blanks when state was already written at the end. Crossed out necessary lines that were to be signed by the leasing management office because they knew it all but couldn’t do a single thing right. Didn’t even bother to look at the lease I had on my phone or google what “authorized property representative” referred to on the county document being notarized. Told me to go to UPS because they’re a “financial institution with strict standards.” Silly folks without brains or common sense. Went to UPS, paid my $10, wasted 2 hours in total because of incompetent staff at BOFA. Can’t believe I’ve been banking with these folks for almost 20 years. This experience made me want to switch banks which I most certainly will after this. Told me they’ve notarized documents “a thousand times” and the authorized property rep signature/date line below the notary portion has to be crossed out because the property leasing management person isn’t present in front of the notary. WHAT? But only my income/signature is being verified and witnessed. The document being notarized is required by the leasing office thru the county. STOP CROSSING STUFF OUT THAT’S IRRELEVANT TO WHAT IS BEING NOTARIZED AND HAVE MORE ATTENTION TO DETAIL. BE MORE COMPETENT AND HAVE SOME COMMON SENSE & COMPASSION. IF UNSURE ASK OR RESEARCH INSTEAD OF SPEWING NONSENSE AND INCONVENIENCING YOUR CUSTOMERS. WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF THE DOCUMENT BEING NOTARIZED? I’m done with BOFA.

Before opening in the morning...thursday..I stood in line at the door of the bank, but all 5 people were waiting. Even though it was past the opening time of 9 o'clock, they were still having a meeting... No one opened the door. Either the meeting was over before the opening time... I feel bad for the attitude of not respecting the customer.

I have been banging here for 30 years. The service has always been great.I had to come in and meet as a savings counselor..NEVEEN MECHAELI had a lot of questions she had a lot of patience good sense of humor in good customer service. She helped me with all of my knees. I probably took up over our per day and she was very patient. You couldn't ask for a better employee on your team.

Bank of America not only don’t have handicap facilities …. They even don’t have enough chair for a customers ,I am literally wait for 20 minutes. The worst part is their customer services. Very bad.

This is not a handicap facility. The front doors are not automatic. A handicap person in wheelchair is not going to be able to open heavy bank door and maneuver the wheelchair by themselves. This is an accident waiting to happen. A huge liability for the bank. Bank please take my review seriously. My mom had a stroke and is paralyzed on one side. I brought her to the bank in a wheelchair and I had a hard them opening the door and maneuvering the wheel chair at the same time. No one was available to help. :(

I had a very complicated issue about my deceased husband`s account. I was getting lot of push backs but Karishma Kunwar helped me with lot of patience and hard work to resolve my issue, she called all people and make it happen, she stayed until 6 one day and next day, without taking lunch. I am glad I got help from her.
