I brought my car to Chantilly Auto Body in June after an auto transport company damaged my car during delivery. After a difficult process communicating between Chantilly Auto Body, the auto transport company, and their insurance company, the company was able to repair body damage and replace the antenna assembly in August. However, after picking up my car my radio would not function properly. Chantilly Auto Body determined there was a problem with the antenna assembly, and they would have to order another replacement antenna assembly. A month went by where I have contacted multiple times checking on when the assembly would arrive. It is now October, still without a working radio, and Chantilly Auto Body said that they had contacted the auto transport company to cover the cost of the antenna assembly. The auto transport company said they already paid for the original repair job and would not pay anymore. I have been stuck in the middle between a negligent auto transport company, their insurance company, and a body repair shop who has not stood behind their work. I am not satisfied that this ordeal has taken on months with no resolution to ensure I have a fully-restored vehicle.

Noncommunicative front office and will not actually check your car for body damage after accident, just the high dollar cosmetics. If you just have a small cosmetic issue, dont mind the front office wasting your time as if you were being paid by the hour to hang out, and feel like paying more this is the place for you.

Overall not impressed with this body shop. Communication with the team there was frequently ignored and not followed up on. For example, I asked them a couple times to check a spot on the hood and to see if they could remove it. Spots still there and no attempt was made to clean it. Side mirror was replaced but not completely put back together, and the old cover was left on the back seat of my car. Thirdly, the front front quarter of the car which was replaced and painted had wax that was not wiped off. Finally, the car was not ready for pickup on the day promised although I had asked no less than 2 times when it would be ready.
What they did well: First, up until the car went in for paint, I was kept pretty much up to date on what was happening with the car. Secondly, having an Enterprise rental desk on site made dropping off the car and getting a rental really easy. The shop itself seemed clean, well organized, and convenient. Finally, given the number of staff, cars in for repairs, and the size of the facility, it’s clear that they do a lot of business, and therefore probably have a good reputation. However, communication and quality control of the final product is lacking.

Wow, during one of the most stressful times, Estuardo was like a knight in shining armor. He took care of everything and provided updates BEFORE, he said he would. I have dealt with a few body shops in the past, Estuardo changed the game with how it should be done. I live in Winchester, and made the drive because of Estuardo, and you should to.

Chantilly auto body is USAA approved and I’d back that! Had to take my truck to them for repairs after my truck was clipped in a parking lot by a semi trailer messed up the bumper and the tailgate. They kept me informed all through the process, even with a call once a day to let me know where the truck stood during the repair process. They are quick no issues and my truck came out looking great thanks again Chantilly autobody you guys did a phenomenal job.

Dropped off my Tesla Model Y recently for a paint job .. they did a good job however damaged my key card.. got no updates on my car when I was told I’d receive a call.. front desk is very ineffective and is of no help on the phone
