Was terrific at helping open a storage unit here. Made it extremely quick and easy and very friendly customer service was awesome! Keep up the fantastic job. She deserves a pay raise. I will refer people who ask me where to go for when they have a need for storage unit(s).

I signed a contract with Public Storage in Chantilly, VA, the last week of May 2025 for a 7x10 unit at $56 per month during a promotion. In August 2025, I was informed that the rate would rise to $89 per month starting October 1, 2025. I contacted the property manager to dispute this, the manager advised that the contract allows rate increases after six months with a 30-day notice. Since I had the unit for only three months, I questioned the increase. The manager offered no explanation, stating I was still paying below market value and that a request to lower the rate was denied. I believe this increase is unfair and exploitative, as it seems Public Storage is taking advantage of customers by raising rates immediately after signing.

PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK‼️ The service is fine, when you initially move in, but they will likely CONSTANTLY INCREASE your monthly rent/payment over the course of just a few months!💸💸 Such a predatory business model - they know that people are locked in, and don't want to have to move/carry all their bulky personal belongings elsewhere. Me and my partner were living in a small apartment after moving from out of state, and they increased our rent multiple times, to the point where it became 2-3x the original rent we paid at move in! ☹️ I tried to speak with onsite staff to renegotiate our rent, but they are rarely available or willing to listen. Please AVOID this establishment unless you are OK with this‼️
