We were so fortunate to have chosen Chesapeake Kitchen Design for our kitchen renovation. Everything was done beautifully, on-time, and on-budget. Here are the key reasons I recommend Fernando and and his entire team so highly:
Fernando produced the best design and the one that was most responsive to what we wanted. (I reviewed 5 different designs!)
He managed every aspect and detail of the renovation calmly and with tremendous thought, planning, and care. He was alway responsive.
He provided terrific guidance on the selection of the marble, the stain of the wood cabinets and other design issues that arose.
The line of cabinets -- Elmwood Cabinets made in Canada --is exceptional. They are beautiful, well-made, and much higher quality than other similarly priced cabinets.
Work like this always comes down to the people involved and everyone, from the electrician, the plumber, the countertop installer, was on time, professional, and careful.
And we cannot say enough about the two men who were in our home every weekday (and an occasional weekend) for the last 5 weeks. Francisco (the on-site manager) and Luis are perfectionists -- detail-oriented and careful and they do beautiful work. They kept the renovated area spotless throughout. And on top of that, they're really nice!
To make this review credible, I was thinking I should give a small criticism -- but honestly, I can't think of a thing! 5 stars!!!

Remodeled with another company, REGRETTED every bit of it. Wish you did bathrooms. Friends have used other companies or contractors, not smiling. Years later I can still sing your praises. Hope you are around for decades more. Like for my children!

Fernando’s financial proposal was the highest of three proposals that we received for our kitchen renovation project but it was also the most realistic. Unlike other would-be contractors, Fernando actually supplied us with plans and drawings of our dream kitchen even before we made any payment. He delivered as promised on the contract and, more importantly, on time and within budget. During the construction phase Fernando kept us regularly informed of progress, and discussed changes and adjustments as needed. As a result, there were never any surprises. Fernando was always available to answer our questions and address our concerns, and he was always courteous and respectful. We enjoyed doing business with him, and we would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

A kitchen renovation is a huge project and like most I got several quotes and talked to many vendors. Fernando provided a floorplan, design and estimate that was right on point for me. We needed to remove a load bearing wall and completely gut our kitchen. Fernando went the extra mile to get permits, engineer drawings and all things necessary to make sure we were doing things the right way in my 1930's home. The team working on our kitchen over 3 month time period were hard working, detailed, clean and thorough. We ran into a bump when all the air vents to take air to the second floor were in the wall and needed to be reconfigured but they handled it well and re-did it all. I'm so incredibly happy with our finished kitchen/dining room we feel like we have a completely new house.

Fernando and his team did an exceptional job transforming my condo kitchen. Fernando designed a kitchen that gave me everything I wanted (more counter space, more storage space, more light) while still working within the limits of walls and pipes that could not be moved. He was knowledgable, courteous and accommodating. The team came everyday, worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and even played with my dog! I highly recommend Chesapeake Kitchen Design.

We had an excellent experience at the Falls Church Ferguson Showroom this morning. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted and immediately helped. Lars C. assisted us and found the exact under cabinet sink we were looking for. Great service and warm, efficient staff.

We bought all our appliances for our new house through Ferguson. The lady that was in charge of helping us, her name is Victoria, had our kitchen layout drawings to work with but she still sent us a fridge/freezer combination with doors that open the wrong way. See photo.When I asked her if they could send the correct door configuration, she simply said no. I asked if they could just swap the fridge/freezer location, they said it will cost me $1200 for their labor.At this point, I don't know know what to do. I really regret buying my appliances through Ferguson, when I had other suppliers to choose from in the beginning..
