“I never pawned or sold anything before to a Pawn Shop, but tried a couple of times in the last 2 years or so, but left each time without pawning or selling anything, because what they offered me was often not an offer but an insult. Or if not an insult, just too low. I do not walk into a Pawn Shop and expect to get $100 for something that is worth $100. It’s a business and not a non-profit, but if I get offered $10 for something that is worth $100, I am not dealing with honest people.I expected the same outcome here and was surprised to find out, that one can find decent and fair people running Pawn Shops (if you run a Pawn Shop and feel insulted by my comment here, chances are you belong to the group of people that do not belong to the category “Decent & Fair”).I was treated friendly and was given a fair offer that I happily accepted. And one more time: Some of the owners and employees I met in those various Pawn Shops I visited, seem to belong in jail and not in public. Sleazy and dishonest like gangster character out of a movie. You won’t find them here. Strongly recommend.”
