If i could give negative stars i would, first of all they have only one or two good people that do good nails. All others suck! I went to get a cute summer gel manicure showed them the colors and designs and she absolutely messed it up. Not only do they not have all colors but they say they can do a design and they cannot. Like if you don’t know how to do something just say no and i will wait for the nail tech who can do the design i want. These people just want to get as many customers as possible and as quick as possible. Never going here again! Also mind you they always ask you for a tip so don’t go in there thinking it will be just 65 dollar nails i paid 75 for crappy nails.

All of my previous experiences were great, the technicians are amazing. Today’s experience threw me off, I came in for a take off, and was seated by a lady who probably doesn’t have much experience. After drilling down my nails she tried to POP them off and I had to ask her to use acetone(I’ve popped nails off before and my nails always come off with it and so much blood). After that she was drilling down the raining nail, and she cut me several times. I literally have four large cuts on my hands. Two of them were gushing blood, and she was telling me not to move. I was only moving because after getting cut my initial reaction is to flinch and retract my hand. On top of that I got charged $25 for a take off? I’ve never had to pay more than $10 at any other place. I don’t think the rate is fair especially for the pain I had to endure. I haven’t had problems with the other technicians but this lady needs to be trained more, she shouldn’t be touching other people’s nails until she’s able to hold a drill without cutting into skin. Safe to say I will not be returning, despite my previous positive experiences.

First time at Romancing Nails and I’ll for sure be going back! Bao did my first ever gel-x manicure, I showed him two inspo pics and he did an amazing job!!! Highly recommend.

I've been a loyal customer of Romancing Nails for years, and recently, I returned to acrylic nails. Boa has truly exceeded my expectations! He always nails my desired style and design perfectly, and his patience and kindness make every visit a pleasure. I even brought my mother for a special birthday mother-daughter nail day, and she was thrilled with how her nails turned out! To top it off, since our appointment was so close to the holidays, we were surprised with a thoughtful gift: a collapsible silicone food storage set. If you live or work in the Chantilly area, I highly recommend Romancing Nails for their outstanding service and attention to detail!

People are very patient and really sweet and caring. They take their time to do a very good job on the nails. 10/10 I definitely would recommend if you are looking for a nice relaxing mani/pedi

Bao was my artist and did an amazing job while making sure I was happy throughout the process. I will 100% be back. Also the price was reasonable which is hard to find in Northern VA.

2.5 stars. I originally was going to post 4.5 when I got my set done but upon coming back a few weeks later for removal, the guy working there removed my extensions by grinding down the surface and prying the acrylics with a nail extension. As in he used a nail extension to scrape under the acrylics and pry it off. This way to remove extensions is totally not okay and damaging to the nail plate (it can even losen your nail). With the amount of force exerted to pry them off, he was struggling and even told me to tell him if I feel pain from the process. Totally not acceptable! That shouldn't even be a thing and the fact that it may hurt to the point he told me to tell him if I do is just red flags all around. Removing extensions shouldn't have hurt that much. If I wanted to remove them like that I would've just done it at home, but I came in because I wanted a professional to do them so I wouldn't damage the natural nails...now my nails are damaged

Went in for a fill after work I was in and out so fast! I am very satisfied with my nails done by Van! They have water and soda if you get thirsty as well which is very accommodating! Overall seemed like a nice nail salon.

Beautiful full set and pedicure received as a walk in customer. I travel for work and had a free evening in the area. Since I was on my phone all day they kindly charged it for me and offered me a drink (water/soda). Salon and instruments are clean. Everyone was very kind. Pricing is in line with average cost. I will be back!

I love this place! Been going here for years! The place itself is nice n clean . The prices are good, the staff is friendly, they are great at designs and there is rarely a wait! I would recommend this place to everyone!

I love this place ! Have been going here for years ! They r very professional and efficient and very detail oriented. I would recommend this place to everyone! I love their designs too ! Hard to fine places that do good designs and are not crazy expensive.
