Tabula Rasa is a great shop. They know what they are doing and they get the job done right! After a year of doing research on the best place to take my car to get paint protection film (PPF) and ceramic coating on top for that nice, new from the dealership high shine, I came across Tabula Rasa's information. After reaching out to the staff, my gut told me that THIS was the place I needed to go and I was right. They did an amazing job on my Porsche, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. And as an aside, get the PPF done as soon as you get your car, you will save yourself some paint chipping from the small rocks on the road.
UPDATE:
A couple of months after getting my car back. I had the unfortunate luck of being in a car accident. The insurance adjuster came to my home and took a look to assess the damage on my Porsche. When I told him I got the PPF put on my car, he did not believe me. Why? He said the work Tabula Rasa did was so good, he could not see the lines where he usually can on PPF installs.
He insisted that they did not put the film where I knew there was film. He even argued with me. Finally, he ended up believing me when he stuck his nose centimeters from the car in some key places (the headlamps, the side mirrors, etc., and saw the seams) but because he barely saw anything, he did ask for the receipt so the insurance would pay to replace the film, and he asked me for their contact info so he could get his car wrapped.
The autobody shop did end up having to remove the film to fully assess the damage to the hood so for sure it was there, but the adjuster's failure to see the seams because the work was so good shows me that I made the right decision picking Tabula Rasa. They have ALL my business going forward.

I came in to get my 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid detailed, including removing of a lot of surface scratches. They got them all and the vehicle looks amazing, including a wonderful gloss! Great customer service. They also provided additional information about their services that I will take advantage of in the future. The owner loves cars and takes pride in all vehicles.

We had PPF applied on our new X7 here. I’m so glad we did, it has saved our brand new car from all the little scratches and dents you get from just normal wear and tear driving.
Everybody is so communicative and easy to deal with. We’ve come back to have it checked twice since having it done and they’re always so thorough, they even rewash the car every time! I would highly recommend this place.

Tabula Rasa provided, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, and window tinting services for my new car. The outcome of all work performed is exactly what I envisioned. Fantastic results for each service. The ceramic coating exterior and interior is a must if you plan on keeping your ride for a while. The PPF provides another level of protection for the exterior. Tinting provides more than a look, it protects the interior and passengers. The team is polite, professional, and very helpful providing consultative auto detail services. I recently took my Jeep in to have Ben and his team add Paint Protection Film. Ben took his time and went over different options and explain the process. They did a fantastic job with the installation. I’ll be going back when it’s time for a detail and plan on taking my future cars there as well.

I paid him to do detailing ceramic coating paint touchup. He did a very poor job. I had to go back a number of times to have the paint touched up, and obvious places that he did not clean or put the ceramic coating on!
I watched as he would just touch up the many spots that he missed the first or second time overtop of his supposed Ceramic coating that I paid him for.
He should have removed any coatings on the paint, whether it be wax, ceramic, etc., and then done the touchup paint and then put the coatings on top of that.
I was going to say something to him as I watched him do obvious faulty work, but I’ve been back so many times already For incorrect, sloppy unprofessional work, I was done with him.
I’ve taken my vehicle to other detailers and they said that there was no ceramic coating on my vehicle.

I can't say enough about Ben and Tabula Rasa Fine Auto Detailing located in Chantilly. Not only was the response quick after my initial text, but Ben responded on a holiday even though they were closed. The final product is awesome. We brought our brand smacking new Cadillac Lyriq to Tabula Rasa less than 24 hours after we drove it off the dealer's lot. It's winter here in Northern Virginia, and we wanted it to be prepared for whatever VDOT sprayed on the roads. If the car was pretty when we drove it off the lot, it sparkled when Tabula Rosa was done with their magic.Ben, the owner, was a personable guy, and we enjoyed working with him. Only time will tell the extended results of the work performed, but from initial results, we're expecting things.
