i had a random assortment of items on my list & the pleasure of having Brittany help me! she gave multiple suggestions & offered workable alternatives for my projects. she was patient & answered all my questions. i left with perfectly affordable & practical items. when she was unsure, she looked it up & asked co-workers for their opinion. when the shelf was empty, she grabbed the ladder & got a new box. everything is holding beautifully. thanks!!!

Why is your pvc trim bords no where near your other trim bords in the store? This is the most unorganized home depot i have ever been to.You check the app for locations of items and the items are nowhere near the location listed. Manager needs help

Home Depot.com is the best, when I ordered furnitures online, when comparing with different merchants. For example, Overstock kept delaying the delivery, while HD delivered my order ahead of time.Home Depot is my to-go-store, either in store or online.

This Home Depot is a lot bigger than the one in my town. It even has a small greenhouse between the outside plant section and the indoor store itself. I went with the kids dad. He got a hose and a new house air filter. I saw a big stack of sod that I need. Not very expensive. 10 ft rolls. Tons of people inside and outside the store. Empl there were all helping people and very nice.

Today was my first visit at this particular location, simply because I rarely come out this far to South Riding. It seems like this store is new because when I went inside, everything was so clean and organized. I came in with the intion of purchasing a padlock, bit I left with the lock, a paint brush, a wire brush, and a tube of caulk. I could have purchased much more as I am a regular supper of this hardware store chain. I mostly purchase lumber and paint. I did require some assistance from an employee in order to locate locks. He was able to lookup the exact location on his phone and he directed me to the correct isle and bay number. They had a big selection of locks which is what is expected. I had a pleasant and experience here and I just wanted to write about it.

I rented a wet/dry vacuum from this location. To begin with, the rental associate didn't check if it was clean before renting it out, but when I returned, they managed to put it on my so-called f**king cleaning fee. Bad customer service!!!!!

Just wanted to take a moment to appreciate Mr.Victor(Manager)at the South Riding Home Depot(VA) store. He worked with us diligently and very patiently to help print a receipt at the store since we had forgotten the original at home and also issued a refund due to the Memorial Day sale on outdoor chairs that we had just bought about a week ago. It saved us the hassle of driving all the way back home n back! We walked out of the store as very happy and thankful customers. Aj & Dee

Totally helpful... took time to figure out to advise on how to use tool properly. Googled and found instructions that was nice! Overall vibe though... not too customer friendly. Prefer Lowe's... lower cost and always laid back consumer friendly vibe.

If I could give a half star I would. Normally customer service is great, but today was very disappointing. It took over an hour and 3 attempts to get assistance from 5 different workers (2 of which acknowledged but did nothing) with a heavy item on a shelf. Come on Home Depot, do better.

Matthew & Nick at this home depot provided customer service at least and even called other locations for the elusive tool )Dewalt framing nailer 30*) we needed to purchase for our project. Now on way to that other location to get the item, hoping for the best they actually hold the item at customer service as was discussed by Nick to the other manager at the other location! So 5 is appropriate in the interim for the customer service alone! I think anyone can understand not getting any help from the Merrifield and Ashburn locations. This was literally the 3rd we've been to and now on to the 4th hoping for the best that the item is there!

Can I please ask why I received a mouthful from an agitated customer service person by the name of Christine who was working in the keys section? I kindly asked her to make another key for me since the first one just didn't seem to work properly. She proceeded to tell me to just return it because it looked the same as the original key. I told her I will request a return, however needed to just make another key and if that fails again, I don't have an issue returning it. She basically huffed and puffed as though as I was wasting her precious time. Hell, if you don't want to work in customer service. Please do yourself a favor and get another career/job. I was not rude to you and by all means was not there to ruin your day by asking you to make another key for me. I do hope you had a better day.

I am a veteran and tried and was going to purchase a washing machine. They did not have the item on stock so they were going to order it for me. I showed the clerk my military ID card to ask for the 10% discount and was told i cannot use it due to they have to order the item online. The item was not on sale or any special pricing so i thought i can my veteran discount. Home Depot is not a military/veteran friendly store. I went to Lowes and bought my washing machine and they gave me 10% discount. Go to Lowes

Shopping here has never been a good experience as far as customer service is concerned. The employees are always rude bordering on disrespectful. But this is the nearest store to me and their goods are decent so I shop here. But recently I had a nasty experience with an employee during check out. He mistook something I said and thought I was going to leave without a receipt. He asked me which country I'm from and when I refused to say, proceeded to tell me "This is not whichever country you come from, you could go to prison if you don't have a receipt." And then went on a weird rant about me not knowing American law. I din't know what to say and just left. I was petrified by the whole incident that I'm never going back there again.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I placed an online order for in store pick up yesterday. I never got notified it was ready so I used the track my order option on their website. Once I I found out that my order was cancelled 30 minutes after it was placed with ZERO notification to me. I called customer service to ask what happened. They basically had nothing to say and said it would take 3-5 days before they would refund my money. So they took my money, cancelled the order without telling me and now I have to wait a week at Christmas to get it back. Happy Holidays to you too!
