I went to get my transmission serviced they told me it was 100$ to get it checked out after I left my truck there and came back they suggested to change my spark plugs on my Chevy for 800$ and refused to do anything else till I changed them so I just changed them myself and I still have the same transmission issue to be honest it was a waste of money

They rebuilt my GMC 8L 8speed transmission, all the hard shifts are gone and it performs better than it ever did! Excellent service after the sale, I would recommend AAMCO Charlottesville to anyone.

i know my 2001 tj is a hard trans to work on, but alec snd the fellas at cville amoco were more thsn accomadating,kept me updated daily and when i got it back runs smooth and right...and couple othet things that didnt work,work now! Thanks again to this great crew and the honoring of the warranty 100%....Im pleased as punch!

I stopped by aamco out of convenience since it’s on my way to and from work at the hospital, but I will definitely choose this place as my go-to car maintenance shop after such a pleasant experience! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, great pricing, and I didn’t feel like I was pushed to pay for unnecessary services like other places in town. Plus I was given a discount for working at UVA, thank you!

Awesome service! We are travelling across the US, with our KITT car from New Zealand, and had a major transmission failure. Alex and the team got us back on the road with a rebuild very promptly and with excellent communication about how long it would take. Thank you!

Hands down best shop in VA! Needed a transmission rebuilt, dropped it off Tuesday and had it back by Friday. I drive 45 minutes to go to these guys. They are the ONLY ones that will work on my cars. They do a lot more then transmission work too!!
