I just heard the sales folks here misrepresent how their credit inquiries work (saying it won’t affect your credit score), and argue with a customer who was factually correct.
Retailers perform a soft inquiry for pre-approval, which doesn’t affect your credit score, but if you proceed with the application, a hard inquiry is typically conducted, causing a credit score dip that usually appears within a few days to a couple of weeks. Be cautious, friends!

The employees are so sweet and helpful. They were very accommodating, and they made me feel welcome. I also had no trouble finding my size which I usually have to deal with at other AE locations. It's a huge store as well

American Eagle has a new storefront in Barracks Road, complete with a new adjoining Aerie store. The new space is wonderful and offers a much nicer shopping experience. Employees in both stores were so nice! We were able to get some great deals. The stores are so clean and organized, even after the holiday rush. We will definitely be back.
