Went there to do inspection and some fluid changes. Very communicative, very friendly and everything is reasonably priced. They also offer shuttle service. Really great experience and will certainly come back again.

I took both of my to vehicles to API to have carbon cleaning done. They have very amazing customer service and provide high level great care to every vehicle they service. I recommend them to anyone. They also provide basic maintenance and a very affordable price.

Will do work you asked them not to do and then charge you for it. I brought in my 2010 Santa Fe fir much needed suspension work before a long car ride. They did a fine job with that, no complaints. But when setting up the appointment the person on the phone offered up that the car was a few lightbulbs away from passing inspection (Inspection sticker was expired). I told them specifically that I was relocating out of state and didn’t care about the inspection sticker. I specifically said I didn’t care about the bulbs or inspection. When I pick my car up there’s a fresh inspection sticker on it and my bill included the bulbs I said not to install. Did a fine job on the work I requested, but watch out cause they will do extra work you requested they not do and then charge you for it. $60 lesion in making sure my communication with the shop was clear.

Started off good with them fixing a few big jobs on my jeep and they went well but having them replace a water pump and heater cooling hose on same vehicle on 12/10/2024 after picking it up and driving or so for a day i had no heat and my jeep was completely overheating which it never did with prior leak before they so called fixed the issue it was also leaking coolant from new spots and causing my engine to smoke then they act like they are soooo busy to take it back in after you have already paid your hard earned money to them they take it back but now i leave with an check engine light on which has never been on my dash i had to go ask them about it before i could even leave the parking lot what kind of shop wouldn’t mention a new issue the code came back for an oil pressure sensor i believe they’re creating more problems to take money from customers down the line i loved this place but will now stay far away and tell others the same

Just moved to Charlottesville and went here to get my safety inspection done. I emailed to schedule an appointment and showed up first thing in the morning. The inspections take about 30-45min and I opted to wait. There is a great little waiting area with snacks, coffee, and tea. Free WiFi and a public computer if you need. Sadly I ended up waiting 2 hours, but I didn’t have anywhere I needed to be so it was ok. When I checked out, they were very apologetic for the wait and waived the inspection fee for me.
Overall great service, kind people, and nice waiting area. I will be returning!
