Had a wonderful experience here. Warm, wonderful, and inviting. The owner, Louie, is full of spirit, welcoming, entertaining, and makes everybody sitting around his L-shaped table feel welcome and gets everybody conversational and into the mood. He makes expert suggestions if you know what you want or suggests things that he thinks might interest you if you're not knowledgeable about wines and all. It's a great, intimate place to go whether you've already got company or whether your just lonely and just want to kill some time in a friendly atmosphere. Very highly recommended!

This isn't a big place like some of the other wine and beer shops in and around town, but their selection is good and seems to be chosen carefully.

What a wonderful Wine Bar the Bottle House is . Great wines , reasonably priced and a very friendly atmosphere. Louie was very helpful and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Thank you Bottle House and Louie.

We wandered in out of the rain last night to kill time ahead of a reservation elsewhere, not knowing anything about this place, and had the absolute best time. Loui was FANTASTIC and so so welcoming and kind, despite our big wet group squeezing in a spot probably designated for a two top. The wine and atmosphere was excellent - there was beautiful fiddle and flute live music and a lively, cheerful neighborhood vibe to the bar. We were just intending to have a glass but the selection was so amazing and the prices were so good that we all ended up shopping in addition to the wine we got to drink there. Gorgeous spot with excellent vibes. If I lived in Cville, I'd be a regular.
Next time I'm in town, I'll make sure it's the destination and not the random stop. Thanks again, Loui!

Phenomenal selection of wine and tasty things! The wines by the glass and cheese tastings are perfectly curated. The tinned fish selection is STRONG. Everything you need to host a wine night at your house!

Great selection of wines with good brews to boot. The service is always amazing with a highly knowledgeable staff. Everytime I stop by I ask for a recommendation for a wine even if I already have something in mind. They have never let me down.
I highly recommend dropping in to try some of their wines at the wine bar.

We love Bottle House for all our wine needs! The owner is very friendly and always has the best suggestions! He is quite knowledgeable about flavor profiles and pairing suggestions. We are always satisfied in the end. You can't beat this local neighborhood wine store for price, selection, and overall experience anywhere else! Great atmosphere! Plus, they are dog friendly and always have treats for our pups!
