Our kids have been going to classics for several years. Customer service is terrible. Rude. Staff is oblivious to basic edicate of communication. Considering how expensive it is, you would think they would at least try. BTW, in competitions, they are mid tier.

Our first grader enjoys her class and we like the facility. The only complaint we have is that the group teacher doesn't ever seem to be able to pay attention to the many kids in all the different stations so the class is somewhat ineffective when a child needs help with a particular skill. So our takeaway is that as kids get older their class instruction gets better, but for the younger kids there is a dearth of attention so most kids (like ours) are just doing things wrong and nobody cares. And if you try to help your child from the sidelines you will be admonished lol. We will keep our daughter in her class for the fun of it, but if you have hopes of a talented young child getting expert instruction I would advise looking elsewhere.

Our youngest has the desire to do gymnastics and we are novice parents to all of this, but the girls teaching at Classic Gymnastics have been wonderful in helping our 6 yo thrive in a class of many. We get that in a group class there is only so much one on one to be had, but the young teachers do a great job paying attention to all the different stations.

Terrible customer service; will not be returning. They seriously need to re-evaluate their employees and their lack of enthusiasm especially working with little children.

we have been here almost 3 years. I really dont get where people find the staff so insulting. My 2 daughters love it and I have had nothing rude ever directed my way.

The place is clean and the instructors are very patient. They encourage as opposed to pushing children to do their best. It's also reasonably priced. I highky recommendcchecking it out.

From the owner down to the staff, I’ve never experienced such rudeness or unprofessionalism when dealing with children. If I hadn’t seen it, I wouldn’t have believed it. When you bring issues to the instructor(s), about toddlers physically being abusive to other toddlers, they just smirk and don’t do anything about it. The staff acts as if it is a bother when you ask them to simply do their job. they are responsible for the safety and proper training of the child, something they seem to have forgotten. My daughter has one more paid class and will be leaving. There is no reason to subject your child to their abuse and unprofessional behavior. Don’t waste your time or money, there are too many other good gyms around. I guess if enough parents stop bringing their children the owner might get the hint and do a better job. If I could give a zero I would have.

The time and effort they take to mold these kids into athletes is amazing.

Great equipment, but the instructors and front desk staff could be kinder to the parents and children, especially the 3 and under class. I think the instructors know gymnastics well, but could benefit from some extra training in early childhood development. Amy was an exception - very kind and encouraging.

They have good facility but instructor (Ms. Angela) is very rude. She doesn't know how to treat kids OR parents. In one of the class with my daughter, I got an urgent call and I had to step away to pickup the call and she shouted on me, that was very insulting. Even my wife had similar experience with her. We observed she was being biased with us, may be our skin color bothered her. The way she teaches, you'll feel like she's teaching for charity free of cost. We didn't even complete last 4 sessions, wasted almost $80. My wife tried contacting the owner "Spencer", but obviously he doesn't care either, else there won't be similar reviews like this.

For so many reasons I will not list, I’m glad my family moved out of the area and we are no longer at this gym. There are many other gyms in VA that have a far better reputation and a much better/higher level coaching staff. Safety always comes first, along with having a well credentialed staff. Parents need to look around the entire state and region before picking this gym for their child.

I am very dissapointed about this Classics Gymnastics. I hope the owner get to read this post, and can correct it. My daughter is in the class of Kim the instructor who is not encouraging at all with kids who don't perform 100% Kim shows her frustration with some kids making faces to them, making this kids feel like "I don't want to come back anymore here" My daughter was complaining with me about this matter many times. I didn't want to believe it, and I did not want to make things bigger, so I decided to stay in class and watch. I could see with my own eyes how this instructor acts. She shows her frustration making faces of disgust with dome kids. There was a boy who called kim "You are mean to me, don't look at me with that mean face" so BINGO!!! It seems is her bad habit, this is going to be our last season. I don't want to pay my money to a place where my kid is going to be mistreated psychologically.
