(The one star does NOT include the two main pharmacist that work there, the young pharmacy technician, nor the two younger girls that work there they are great I feel for them and I hope they get raises and less stressful jobs)I almost always leave this place in literal tears, I kept giving them a chance because the location is convenient for me and because one time I literally started crying at the consultation desk and one of the pharmacists showed me so much compassion I could tell he felt bad he ended up going really far out of his way to help me with ADHD meds, personally called my Dr, and then called me way after hours to follow up after he spoke to my doctor and my script was ready the next day he is the rock star of CVS on long street unfortunately it’s always crazy busy and understaffed and I imagine it’s a stressful work environment so the few really amazing people who work here can only do so much.Yesterday I had Costco call them to transfer a prescription to them, Costco called me to let me know they had spoken with them and were waiting for them to fax the script. I called CVS to check if they had had the chance to do so, the woman who answered the phone was SO rude and dismissive and condescending she kept speaking over me wouldn’t even let explain my situation rudely told me nobody had called without even checking or asking my name or ANYTHING then after she finished being mean she hung up the phone immediately. I’m a pretty sensitive and unconfrontational person and I’m never anything but nice to service staff as I’ve been working in restaurants my whole life so I get it sometimes it’s stressful but this woman had no business being so mean. Everything else aside I probably wouldn’t even be writing this review if this woman hadn’t been such a jerk completely unprovoked over the phone. After this I called Costco again and they told me they spoke to CVS and they claimed they didn’t have my script which just wasn’t true because I could see it on the app so my bf and I went to cvs (didn’t wanna call bc of the lady from earlier) I spoke to the pharmacy technician at the consultation desk and she was super nice and lovely and helpful and checked w her pharmacist to make sure he sent over the fax (she and I also made sure I was asking for the right dose and strength) after the pharmacist working (he was NOT one of the usual guys) told her he had sent it over I called Costco back to follow up and by then they had already given away the last of the medicine to another patient and they claimed they still NEVER received the right script seems like cvs sent in the wrong thing.I left CVS upset and in tears since because of their mistake and lack of empathy and care for their job I missed out on a medication that I REALLY needed and is hard to find. Apparently after I left my bf went back and yelled at the pharmacist enraged over what they had done to me in an attempt to stick up for me since clearly I wasn’t going to. I would’ve felt bad about him yelling at the pharmacist (bc unlike them I care about other people’s feelings and wellbeing) apparently the pharmacist told him that it was my fault for asking him for the wrong strength which was just a blatant lie since I never even spoke to him, The whole time I was in communication with Costco (they’re the ones who were calling) and they kept confirming the dose strength with me and are the ones who told me cvs claimed they didn’t have my script for the strength in the first place, and the cvs pharmacy technician and I also double checked we were talking about the same strength. The pharmacist attempted to gaslight my bf (who was there the whole time) and make me out to be a liar just to avoid taking accountability for HIS mistake. The only thing I feel bad about is that I worry the technician got caught in the crossfire since she was so great. In conclusion somewhere between the lady that answered the phone being rude as hell for no reason and the new pharmacist trying to gaslight us ending in completely screwing me over I will NEVER return to this CVS

So the most convenient pharmacy to me is a CVS with a one star rating. Oh come on, how bad could it be (I asked myself naively)? Surely they can fill prescriptions with the correct medications, refill them when necessary, notify me when they are ready to pick up (around 30 days after the last time I picked up would be ideal; not just some random number of days), and not "re-shelf" them after two days of being notified so that I have to browse the store for 30 minutes while they start the whole process over again. Don't even get me started on the fact that all CVS pharmacies have to close for lunch because they can't seem to figure out how to stagger their breaks. Anyway, in case you're wondering, this location is definitely one star worthy. The convenience of the location just isn't worth dealing with their constant incompetence. PS. the fact that they can't even figure out the difference between AM and PM on their posted hours should let you know that attention to detail isn't exactly a high priority for them.

Terrible! They registered me for vaccines on two separate occasions and when I showed up, told me it was cancelled. No notice whatsoever and they certainly could’ve cared less about inconveniencing me. No apologies. Will not be going back to CVS for anything ever.

The pharmacists and technicians at this location are always very friendly and helpful. Not quite 5 stars because it’s nearly impossible to reach them via phone. Otherwise, I always have a good experience here.

Try to call and on hold for 40 minutes and then someone picks up and hangs up before I can let them know what I need. Very poor customer service and apparent not able to keep medications in stock as has been weeks waiting for one prescription and almost a week for another.

Super nice and friendly, but seriously understaffed. They will never answer the phone, the website is never accurate and you will have to self advocate real hard in person to get what you need.

The last time I was in CVS, the cashier was rude and mean. Today, Kayla was an absolute dream. She was sweet and kind as she showed me how to print pictures off my phone. She was wonderful to all the other customers. In this day and age when a good work ethic is hard to find, I'm very glad to see someone like Kayla! I wish every store I shop at had a Kayla working there. She is sweet and find and she is great at customer service!

PSA, do NOT use the drive through pharmacy.I waited at the drive through pharmacy window for approximately 10 minutes because it said on the window “the hours are now 8AM to 8PM.” Nobody came. So, I pressed the call button. The pharmacist YELLED “it’s closed” at me through the window. It felt like a pop scare at a horror movie, and I am disgusted by the quality of service. Don’t press the yellow button unless you like getting yelled at.That’s why it’s a YELLow button apparently….

Held out hope that maybe my experience would be different. Been waiting almost 2 weeks for them to get my prescriptions transferred. I've called them multiple times and they keep telling me that they've left messages at the other pharmacy. I called the other pharmacy (who actually pick up the phone every time I call, never left a message in the 2 years I used them) and they haven't heard from them. I walked into CVS to address this with them, for them just to say "we'll try again today". That was days ago. I called CVS and gave them a NAME to ask for when calling the other pharmacy, that they were ready to transfer, still nothing. I called UVA pharmacy today and they're already working on our prescriptions. Took them 2 hours. Unbelievable. I used CVS all over this country for years until we didn't have any in our last city that were close, or even stand alone (inside of target). Go anywhere else. These reviews are true.

I just had the worst customer service [in the pharmacy] today - in my favorite local store. Some of the newer people are extremely rude and not helpful with requests.
