The store looked clean and well-stocked, and Matthew at the register was super helpful and friendly. I mentioned to a friend that I wasn't sure where some items were which he heard so he showed us where to go. He didn't seem bothered by our questions which I really appreciate.

I easily located what I was looking for and walked towards the register while looking on my phone to try to find a coupon for 30% percent off. The cashier smiled and asked if she could help me. I said I wanted to use in my email. She helped me make sure that the coupon was applied to my purchase. She was courteous, friendly, and very helpful. I wish I could remember her name!

These people work their asses off to keep Albemarle medicated. The blame goes to the insurance companies. Today (12/2/24) they went the extra mile and served me at the drive thru despite it being 1:33 pm and already into their 1/2 hour lunch break. They know me and they know I love them; my advice to anyone reading this far is to show your appreciation to hard-working people you depend on monthly whenever possible.

The photo book online ordering did not work. We made the book online with no problems. CVS responded that they had our order and were processing it. When we got to CVS, they said their photo machine was not working. No communication that they could not print the book. It happened 2 more times at different CVS locations.

The pharmacy always has my Rx when they say they will, and the line, if there is one moves very quickly. The store has a lot of fun products, though the prices are high. The pharmacist is always friendly and helpful.

"I had a disappointing experience trying to get the Hep B vaccine at two different pharmacies. When I arrived at the first one at 1:30 PM, I was told I needed to make an appointment online, despite their online schedule showing availability. It was frustrating to learn that walk-ins were only accepted until 12:30 PM. The staff seemed disinterested and were not accommodating.
Thinking I might have better luck elsewhere, I went to another pharmacy in Ruckersville at 11 AM. Unfortunately, the experience was no better. The staff there were unhelpful and had an arrogant attitude, insisting that I check online for availability, even though it was clear they were not busy.
It's disappointing that these pharmacies seem to prioritize bureaucracy over customer service. I hope they consider improving their scheduling systems and training their staff to be more accommodating and respectful to customers."

The CVS at Rio is completely retooled with a new pharmacist and a store manager who are very engaged with the customer base. Feedback is welcomed and reacted upon. Every customer owns a piece of our ear. Our customer service scores for front store AND Rx lead the district. We pride ourselves on giving you a small local business customer experience. I tried photo printing here and they turned out terribly. The white turned out with a light blue tinge, and all the 4x6s had a white gap along the side.Meanwhile, I couldn’t even find glue sticks there. The office supply aisle was worse than a grocery store.And I stopped going to the pharmacy over a year ago because it is so unreliable. Really, never go here. Anywhere else would be better!
