I was really impressed by the young man(Jaiden),that waited on me today. He was very polite and very helpful. I did not have to wait long at all before he asked if he could help me and then he was very knowledgeable and found me exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for such great service Jaiden!! We will be returning to this store.

They were under construction which I get. I came in to get shoes for work. Had to wait a long time for employee to help me then he disappeared so another helped me. He was real knowledgeable. The resaon I gave it 2 stars is not enough 6 year old shoes to choose from and long wait for salesperson and then he disappeared!

Went in to spend a few hundred dollars on some sunglasses and had to use the restroom while I was there. After doing a full lap around the store, I wasn’t able to locate the restroom so I asked an employee (manager?) where it was. I was told it was in the renovation area. I walk towards the unmarked restrooms in the back of the store, around and into the back plastic wrapped area as far as I could but there was no way to get into the construction area to gain access to the restrooms. There was a barrier with cones and stanchions blocking off the access. So, I quietly left the store and used the restroom at Wegmans, and I reluctantly came back.
10 minutes later I return, and after looking through the display case for several long minutes I was interested in trying on some sunglasses. But now I was having a difficult time finding help from anybody nearby to assist. All employees were on registers from what I could see or running area to area with stock in their hands faster than I could catch them. I don’t know why but the store felt understaffed, even though it was half the size it used to be. By this time I’d had about enough, was getting irritated, so I decided to leave.
In general, as a customer, I felt under appreciated from the moment their restroom wasn’t available to the moment I wasn’t able to get assistance.
I decided I’ll take my business elsewhere to a place where my money will be appreciated.
This was truthfully my second attempt to get sunglasses here. Similar experience my first time, minus the bathroom… so never again. 👎

I love my shoes me in my partner were in looking for shoes want to pair tried them on and the slipped a security tag in the shoe after we purchased the never found and when we went to walk out the alarm went off very embarrassing to find out it was deep down hiding in the shoe after employee walked the shoes to the front before purchasing and cashier never checked the shoes be careful they tried to set us up like we even wanted to steal

Please just bring back the Field & Stream 😭🙏
Decent selection of gear for various outdoor sports like golf, jogging, walking, running, etc. No more hunting equipment is sold here since the the loss of the Field & Stream. That is a big local niche that nobody's really filling right now, Dominion Outdoors in Fishersville is probably the closest place with decent selection.

My 82 year old friend just had the best experience. She was helped by the kind, attentive manager, Robert, at Dick’s on Wed morning. He spent a-lot of time explaining the return policy on some soccer cleats she had bought for her grandson. He took the time to get everything settled. She highly recommends the store and kudos to the Manager Robert.
