Didn't stay in room, but went for a wedding reception in the Piedmont room. Very nice cocktail hour and coffee bar set up by the small bar area. Food was good. Service ok. We spent most of the reception with dirty plates on the table. Never cleared the room. Seemed like they were short staffed and only 3 men running the hotel! My plus one and I were tempted to find a bus pan and knock it out. Too many years in the service industry! But overall, it was good. Fantastic views, great location, and beautiful decor!

Very nice and accommodating... I also attended a wedding party at the same place. They were having issues with the hot water but good thing it is summer 😆

Traffic getting in was little busy. But the service and people were great. I've stayed at other Graduate locations and this is trending to be in the top two.

Old hotel and rooms are quite dated. Good price and staff service is quite nice. Bar on top floor is great and they offer valet!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Graduate for business. The hotel is a short distance from the CHO airport and in the heart of UVA and UVA Medical. The hotel is clean, I felt safe and was able to work and rest well. Max and Leann handled an extremely out of the ordinary issue with kindness and due to their above and beyond efforts the matter was resolved with the best possible outcome. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again for vacation. My only reason for 4 stars on the room is because I prefer to see matress covers under bedsheets but the bed was clean so it would not prevent me from staying here again.

Cute hotel near UVA hospital. Rooms are adorable, very roomy. Good internet. The rooftop bar has good drinks and beautiful views. Love the vibe. Easy parking and very convenient location. Check in and check out is easy and everyone was super nice and friendly.

Great location, super weird decor vibe, a little worn down. I stayed here for three nights for a work visit to UVA. The location was perfect since it’s right next to campus and walking distance to a ton of food options. The employees were kind and welcoming and the lobby was cute. My room, however, was a little strange. There was no closet, just a rolling rack and when I arrived it had one hanger on it so I had to call down for more. Decor-wise: If masculine, a little dirty, intense horse and fish stuff is your vibe then this is the place for you. Not so much for me. The huge painting beside one of the beds showed a horse race with one horse and jockey fallen and about to be trampled??? There were big fish over each bed and more (smaller) animal pictures on the wall. The window sheer was dirty and the bathroom mirror was damaged. Nothing horrific, just not five star level. Bed was comfortable and bedding appeared clean. The included toiletries were relatively masculine scents that did not mix well (peppermint, cilantro and lime???). Overall, not my taste, but perfectly fine.

Popped in for a quick college tour of UVA. It’s a fantastic location - on one end of The Corner - so you can get a feel of campus life.
Friendly service throughout the hotel. There’s a game room on the second floor with shuffleboard and a ping pong table. A small coffee shop exists in the lobby but there’s plenty to eat once you exit the hotel. Valet parking is available for a reasonable $25 and it’s easy to text them for your car.
Rooms are clean but have definitely seen better days. Bathrooms are bare bones with just a bar of soap. Our shower had run out of pump soap and shampoo so clearly nobody is really checking. There’s no microwave in the room or lobby which is annoying versus other hotels in the same category.

A venue with character, great location to access UVA, and convenient parking... but on the lower scale of a 4-star property, especially given the price.
The reception and common areas are cozy and welcoming, University themed. Nice rooftop bar.
The rooms are a little bit more ordinary, and stingy with the toiletries (no shower cap, cue tips,...), towels (one of each per person), water bottles (none), and coffee, instant only.
WiFi is very slow.
There is not an option to have a proper breakfast, but there are plenty of places nearby.
Service is variable - some very helpful and friendly, some a little less.
The gym is in a small room: basic treadmill and elliptical, surprise of a peloton bike, bench, mat, weights, and medicine ball - even if there is at the best space for one person to do some constrained weight training.

I stayed here maybe a decade ago. Now? Wow this place has lost its luster. My room is just unsightly - the bureau is trashed, the window border is janked, the shower stall is rotted. And then this morning I woke up (mildly hung over) and stepped in a puddle in the bathroom - the toilet was leaking. Did anyone seem to give a shit? Nah, not really. I will not be staying here again.

Good place to stay!
Great spaces to work or study from. Location is excellent. Staff isn’t overly friendly or courteous. Just average but subpar for a typical Hilton.
Rooms are good but feels a little stuffy. HVAC units might need some preventative maintenance.
Cafe is convenient and easy to use.

Did it for morning coffee; I did ask the lady if the hotel was Hilton so I could use my Hilton card and get points and she said no - LOL I was really focused on the coffee though! Cheers
