Great selection and absolutely brilliant staff. There's no substitute for knowledgeable and enthusiastic people helping you find the right product. I might have saved 10% by buying on Amazon but would 100% have ended up with the wrong equipment. Seriously, buy your kit in person, and buy it here.

Beautiful store with a great selection of outdoor adventure gear and apparel. The customer service (resident pup included) is top notch. Drew spent a lot of time helping us select the best Yakima roof rack/SkyBox cargo solution for our vehicle and even helped us install it! Highly recommend!

I was on a bike ride around cville and I got a flat near Barracks. I stopped by this location and used their outdoor bike-service station to replace my flat. DREW (I believe) noticed me through the storefront window and came out to ask if I needed any help. He also brought a pump for me to use since the outdoor wasn’t currently working.
I really appreciate his initiative and friendliness! I didn’t buy anything from the store, but I will definitely return in the future if I’m in need of any outdoor goods.

The best store for outdoor clothes and gear in Charlottesville. A great selection of items and the best thing is that they had a range of sizes.

Starting from before even moving here we've been using this store as our go to. The new location's even better with more space. Everyone is extremely helpful, the inventory is amazing and pricing is competitive. Amazed they still had the shoes that I've been looking for that are discontinued and literally NO ONE even the vendor have. Axe stock was low but had the right stuff and not a bunch of pointless items. Having the GB axe stone on hand was extremely surprising. Great store. Great people and great products. Thanks!

Can't speak highly enough of the service I received when looking to buy a canoe. Drew was extremely helpful as I researched my purchase, including multiple trips to the store to learn more about canoes. I never felt he was trying to upsell me, or got frustrated with my numerous questions. I'm very happy with what I got and how much I learned in the process. Great selection of kayaks, and good enough selection of canoes to get me the options I needed. Again, Drew specifically was superb.
