I've worked with these people over a couple of years. Small town accounting firm, likes nonprofit audits (easy $$$). Dishonest, in a way that no one rocks the boat. Good enough if you want a rubber stamp and they like you.

Took the time to head into their offices and had a consultation. I have both a professional job and own a business. Met for about an hour, reviewed everything, and agreed that I would send previous year's tax returns to them via secure email. I did as we discussed and radio silence ever since ( I'm confident they were received). I won't chase down folks that can't return emails, especially after I took the trouble to make an appointment and send in documents. Unfortunately, this type of customer service appears to be the norm for accountants in the area.
