Oi vei, this was not a very kosher experience.
I came in to get a car for my cousins bat mitzvah, and this little boy named Avery was the one working the counter that day. He seemed like a nice kid, very liberal and likely 2SLGBTQIA+, which as an ally, I appreciate. We go over the rental counter, and this young boy has the chutzpah to not only paint his nails while I stand there in front of him, but then proceed to FLIRT with me and say very overtly sexual things to me as I'm asking questions about my rental! I couldn't believe it myself if it didn't happen to me! Needless to say, I will never be back, and my rabbi will be hearing about this.

This location promised me a 7 passenger vehicle on October 14 today is the 13 th I called to see if they could get me in something sooner and they said no and if I switched out of the huge truck they gave me and into 5 passenger in order to make it so I could get in the vehicle without hurting myself (I was just in an accident) then they couldn't promise me the 7 passenger tomorrow. I asked again why? They said they weren't sure if it would be available but that wasn't an appropriate answer. Then I was placed on speaker and the supervisor abruptly said we never promised you a 7 passenger which was not true. Way too much to express on here

Tyree is 100% on fire with his customer service and understanding of my car being in the shop over 3 months. Thank you Hertz for hiring such a customer service super star. 💪

Unbelievable. The reservation you make online is fake and they blame you for not understanding their pseudoscience. I would avoid at all costs.

Before taking my rental, I noticed that a tire was significantly deflated. The staff person, Tyrik, expressed much confidence that it just needed air even though I expressed my doubts. I told him that I needed to travel the next day a couple of hours away. Fortunately, I ended up not having to make that trip, because in less than 20 miles and 48 hours, the tire was half deflated again and it was difficult to handle. Tyrik knew that I had recently been in a major auto accident, but it didn't seem to bother him that I felt very uneasy about the potential for another accident. While waiting for him to complete the necessary paperwork, I happened to notice how FILTHY the Hertz office is. Tyrik confirmed that it is never cleaned. Really Hertz? You can't afford to hire a local cleaning service just once a week?

I made a reservation to rent a car at this location, used an uber, got to the place only to be told it has been shut down and I had to spend extra to go to a different Hertz location to pick the car up. I was not even given an email that they were closing that branch.Which is not professional.

I used AAA to book a trip 2 months ago and made the reservation for a vehicle to be picked up at this location at a specific date and time. When I arrived, which was about 10 minutes early to pick it up, I was told they had no vehicle available that I had already requested and reserved. They called other hertz locations around to try to find another vehicle. I was told I’d have to wait until someone could locate such type of vehicle for 6 people, a car seat plus luggage for a trip to Disney. I spent 4 hrs there waiting and waiting and waiting. I finally was able to reach the hertz customer service and speak with someone. They asked to speak with someone there working and the guy was rude and smart with the customer service rep. No one bothered to check prior to the pickup date to confirm my reservation nor did they bother to call in advance and let me know a mini van would not be available. I left and went elsewhere where I was given a 12 passenger van to accommodate my needs. I will not recommend this hertz location to anyone as the customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life. This will be the last time I use hertz for a rental car need.

I've heard this location will unfortunately close. I've been using it without any issues for over an year now. Unfortunate that they will only keep a Hertz in the airport, might have to change to a different car rental that's closer to downtown Cville

HANDS DOWN THE RUDEST, MOST RACIST AND DISRESPECTFUL LOCATION I'VE EVER USED!!! HANDS DOWN!!! SMH EVEN DISTRACT MANAGERS IGNORE VALID COMPLAINTS AND CONCERNS. BUT THEY GET TO ILLEGALLY LOCK AND RUIN PEOPLE LIVES PAYING THEM FOR A SERVICE. Employee says to me the other day while renting me a dirty and pet hair filled vehicle "that insurance claim rentals take priority, and that I really (my money) didn't matter" ...what a joke for staff. The little small African man that works there came to my job talking about " damn I wish you had your own place" (living with children) when i had to politely shut him down, letting him know he was too little for me...what a joke staff they have in there now. SMH. Ps. The 1 star is definitely STILL TOO MUCH FOR THIS LOCATION ??And after reading the other reviews after I wrote mine....I KNOW IM VALID.HERTZ....PLEASE SPARE MY YOUR FAKE APOLOGIES AS IVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH OUT TO DISTRICT MANAGERS AND OTHERS FOR 2 MONTHS NOW.
