The customer service here was one of the worst that I experienced. I tried to return a product without a receipt and was literally going off the Kroger website's policy where items under $10 can be refunded with cash while items over $10 will be given store credit if unsatisfied with the product and didn't have a receipt. Mind you, my product was in perfect condition and unopened. The staff rudely dismissed me even thought I had the website policy pulled up and even closed customer service on me. It was no where near the store's closing time either. Self checkout then kept malfunctioning, and the rude staff had to keep coming back to address the machine. Overall, negative experience - wouldn't recommend coming to this location unless you absolutely need to.

1 person bringing out pick up orders!!! These people need more help and more money!!! Since your executives readily admitted to price gouging during the pandemic, PAY YOUR PEOPLE!!! I have waited 45 minutes from my scheduled time.

I know the young man can’t help it but the managers at the Kroger pickup must be bad.ive been waiting in my car for over 4 hours and I live in buckingham so I can’t just go home and come back. This is the second time this has happened and it’s ridiculous. People probably called out for a reason but honestly if you really don’t have anyone to work should notify people not to do online orders

Been a regular shopper but lately it’s been frustrating to shop at this location. Only one check out was opened so I decided to go for self checkout. I had a problem with a transaction and had to wait almost half an hour and no response… ignored by other attendants so I just left my groceries there and left the store. This incident happened on 09/26/2024 between 11.45 to 12.15 pm. They had lots of associates moving around and no help at self checkout ignoring customers.. Kroger you need to wake up.. I am also going to report the incident to the corporate office.

The amount of anger from my checkout experience is unreal. We were considering returning to Kroger for the great deals after moving out of town and closer to a Food Lion, but I can assure you our business will be going to Food Lion every week we grocery shop. We visited Kroger on a Saturday night to get the next week worth of groceries as we were kid free for the next few hours, only to hit the checkout with NO registers open, only self checkout at 7:00 p.m. at night. Mind you.. we have an ENTIRE cart full of groceries to feed our family of 5. We went to the self checkout area where all you could hear in the background was “Help is on the way” from no lie EVERY register. I would say probably 20+ people checking out or waiting to checkout through the self checkout, as there was no actual registers open at the time. The lady Sarah after scanning her card the sixth time told me that I couldn’t hold the bag as it was setting the sensor off resulting in her to come over and scan her card. As she clearly didn’t realize, I had no where else to put the bags because the entire top shelf was full, all the 4 bag options were full, and our cart was still overflowing with groceries. Halfway through our checkout experience that totaled 31 MINUTES due to needing her to come continue to scan her card from setting the sensors for a younger gentleman opened a register as the self checkout was exploding. No worries, Sarah brought the open register to our attention after scanning her card yet again. Clearly she didn’t realize it wasn’t open prior to us entering the checkout. I mean who would go through the self checkout with an overflowing cart because I am ensure you I would not. The amount of people showing frustration around me was clearly known too as at least 5 additional people were expressing their frustration. Obviously it is not the employees fault, but seriously Kroger get it together. I am a firm believer in self checkout for a few items, but $400.00 dollars worth of groceries through a self checkout is RIDICULOUS! If your only checkout person is on break, how about finding someone to cover them before leaving self checkout as the only option.

Kroger needs to do an internal review. The manager by the name of Fritz at the Rio Hill Kroger is nothing short of a bully on a power trip. He treats his employees with the utmost disrespect, even yelling at special needs employees, he also follows them around waiting to find any flaws. He spends more time harassing employees than doing his actual job and most of the staff at Kroger's that work under him are very efficient, kind and hard working. This Kroger will continue to have a high turn over rate as a result. He rarely communicates with respect and can often be observed being aggressive, loud and argumentative. He also escalates customers that are unhappy. I wish I could give zero stars for all the horrible things I've witnessed. You know it's bad when customers notice it. He has no business being in charge of anything and has a total lack of professionalism. I'm am so much more relaxed now being out of that toxic environment. If you have any kind of special needs at all please do not work at this location, I refuse to even shop there now. He's a tyrant and a very poor example of someone that possessed good leadership qualities. He also has no issues correcting employees very loudly in front of customers instead of speaking to them privately, he publicly berates them. He also spends a lot of time hanging out in his truck but loses his mind when employees need a break of any kind.

The manager Fritz is a prick to everyone. He has a problem with every employee and contractor. He is rude, disrespectful, and discriminating. Never work for this man and if Kroger was wise they would get ride of him before they lose all their employees

Deal with the same rude produce employee every Sunday! Always slamming the food around and punch the lettuce and pushing around customers and being very threatening and rude. Don’t even look at the lettuce cause they march over and start slamming stuff around. I tried to look at a bagged lettuce and put it back exactly how it was. They came over and punched and slammed it around and acted like I had messed it up.
This happens every Sunday I have had to change my routine and just avoid buying lettuce from there.
Tried to speak and call to management today but wouldn’t ever come out or answer the phone.

Please ask your cashiers and baggers to cut out the chit chat and pay attention to what they are doing. I'm tired of getting bags packed with bleach cleaners, dairy, fruit, vegetables and canned goods all mixed together with the canned goods bruising the fruits and vegetables. If they would stop talking about other employees and pay attention that might not happen.

I came here the other day and saw very few workers actually doing their job. Majority were goofing off such as riding the handicap carts around the store full of customers or just chatting with their coworkers while plenty of customers needed help. There was a really helpful young man named Tajh that helped me and a few others as well that were doing absolutely amazing at their job but other than that most of these employees are lazy!

Working here is not it, the woman Teresa in HR has no business at all being in HR. The manager Fritz is a stuck up wannabe body builder trying to make everyone do the job that HE HIMSELF is supposed of doing. I was hired as the lead down in Fuel Center, and they tried to have me do work inside the store WHEN IM ONLY TRAINED IM FUEL. If you want a stress free work environment stay far from here, there’s new people being hired and quitting each and every day.and honestly I see why they can never keep anyone working in the store. Absolutely they worst job I have ever had. Not to mention they have messed up every one of my paychecks since starting, I have filed court ordered paper work just to get the money I am owed. Oh and don’t bother trying to call the store for ANYTHING, you’ll be waiting for someone to pick up the phone for hours, literally. I didn’t want to come on the internet to do this BUT i was given absolutely no choice since management and Teresa in HR felt like they were too good to speak with me personally.
