Grossly incompetent company. This company will lie to you about sending in your information to your insurance. They will jerk you around just to get an essential piece of medical equipment like a CPAP that you need to function. Their staff is HIGHLY incompetent and lazy, and they DO NOT care. They will play with your health and livelihood. DO NOT do business with them if you can help it. WORST company ever.

Lincare has been the supplier of all my Oxygen needs for several years. My whole experience with them has been nothing but great. Everything from the courteous and helpful office employees to the fellas that deliver the supplies needed.I had a scary experience just this past Sunday when my oxygen generator developed problems, I placed a call to Lincare and within an hour I received a call back from Jerome (Jerry) one of Lincare’s delivery technicians. Very shortly after Jerome was knocking on my door to assess the problem. within the next half hour Jerome came up with a suitable solution and a plan going into the following week. I can’t tell you how kind and considerate Jerome was on this Sunday call to a frantic customer.I can only hope that all Lincare clients are as fortunate as I am having an associate tending to their needs as I do with Jerome. To the Lincare corporate personnel, please make note that Jerome, employed in the Charlottesville branch is a true asset to your company. His gift is not treating your customers not as just another stop. He sees and treats them as individuals with concern, professionalism, and a smile.

Excellent patient experience. This branch in Charlottesville is well managed by Amanda . I’ve had good telephone contact by the staff including ashley . The equipment tech Michael is very professional and he has advised me with courtesy , enthusiasm and knowledgeable information. And I am very pleased with my cpap equipment..

Can’t ever get thru to talk to anyone. If you like elevator music then call them, you will have all day to listen to it. I have tried numerous times to get thru and it’s always the same either no answer or music for hours. ??????And I won’t be calling your number sent in your bot response. You want our business then act like it and return calls and do what a good company does. If there was a NO STAR that’s what you really rate.

I have not gotten my machine yet but it was just ordered yesterday. I wanted to comment on the staff member Ashley. She was GREAT! She gave me the details for my machine co-pay and explained it all to me. She was very professional and I felt she was a good listener and cared about my concerns about the costs involved. Yeah ASHLEY!!!! you are great!! thank you.

i have been a user of CPAP equipment from the Charlottesville Lincare office for over 7 years. The staff is helpful when I get a new machine and in setting up the equipment plan. And then the problems start. I receive a request for what equipment is needed every 3 months. I complete the request and the equipment arrives in about 2 weeks. But I do not get an itemized bill, or any bill until I get a past due notice. This has been going on for the past year. I have called the billing number and no change is made. Today came the phone call again to follow up on the "overdue" bill. The person was eager to take our bill payment over the phone. I told him/her about not getting a bill and the response was "there is an issue with the billilng system and only some of our customers are not getting bills" He did say he would send us a bill but I doubt that it will happen as I have requested it several times.. BTW, their online billing system is not accessible. We have tried numerous times. And when I try to call the local Lincare office, it is sent to hold., I have waited for over 30 minutes before I hang up totally frustrated. I am looking into changimg companies but it seems that most companies have equally bad reviews. Or some companies do not take our insurance.

We finally decided to change CPAP suppliers. Couldn't get them to send us an invoice. Rather than an invoice, we kept getting dunning notices from a bill collection agency. Unacceptable!

My initial visits were fine. Last June I retired and switched to Medicare. It has been 10 months and they still have not figured out how to make the switch in their system so I can no longer order supplies from them. I have called multiple times. Spoken to multiple people who have all given me a different reason why this has not been accomplished yet. They have ALL promised to call me back but they never have. I even visited them in person to try to get it corrected. They said, “they’d call me” but have not. I called them back and was told not to call them and that they would call me once they had made the change. Are you kidding me? So, now retired I have been ordering my supplies elsewhere and paying out-of-pocket because of this issue. If Lincare responds to this review by telling me to call them, I absolutely will not. They need to call me like they have been promising for the past 10 months. If you have a choice use a different provider.

My initial visits were fine. Last June I switched from my employers insurance to Medicare because I retired. It is now 10 months later and after repeated phone calls with multiple people from this office ( who ALL told me something different and ALL promised to call me back) I still have not received a phone call and they still haven't figured out how to switch me over to Medicare so that I can buy supplies and have them covered by my Medicare and Medicare Supplement. So, now retired I have been purchasing my own supplies out-of-pocket. An expense I had not budgeted for when retiring. How hard can this be? If you have a choice use a different provider.

Let me cut to the chase. This place is the absolute worst. I’ve had sleep apnea for over 5 years with a documented lifetime prescription and I simply need a new machine. My doctor has had to send multiple requests for 6+ months, and I am still waiting for my request for a replacement machine to be filled. Insurance and the doctor are dialed. Lincare is just a terribly run business.
