I have sent both of my children to ODDS, and am constantly referring friends and family to bring their children here as well. I know my girls are very well taken care of and loved here, and I cannot imagine a better place for my children. 10/10.

If I could leave zero stars. I absolutely would. I worked for this company and now they are with holding my paycheck from me because they are upset I decided to leave their company.

I love Old Dominion Day School so much and most importantly, my daughter loves it as well. She's been going since she was 3 months old and it brings me so much comfort knowing she loves the teachers so much and that they love her as well. She'll reach out to them every morning at drop off and is all smiles when I come to pick her up in the afternoons. There's low staff turn over which is great since it provides that consistency for the kids.

I have sent all my 3 children there. Reading some other reviews I need to say that whether the child is prone to ear infection depends mostly on the child's immune system and the anatomy of the ear. My first child got ear infection repeatly, ear tubes, and more ear infections after the tubes fell out. But my 2nd and 3rd children never got a single ear infection, while I am much less careful about keeping their environment clean compare to my oldest child. The playground is not covered by grass, and I admit my children always end up covered in dirt after playing outside. But I give them bath immediately after I got home. Besides, if there were grass in the yard then I would be worried about ticks. What I like about this center is the low turn-out rate of the staff and every teacher makes me feel welcome. The 3-year old teacher has always been great. My first and second children all learned how to read at ODDS's pre-K class and are now reading at 2 grades above their peers in the public school (were reading at least 1 grade above when they entered kindergarten). Food is great too, sort of even converted me to organic eating after reading their weekly menu for years.

I have sent my 11 months boy there for 3 months, and he got otitis media at the 2nd months in childcare, he didnot recover from it until we kept him home. And my colleague's 2 yr old son has otitis media every month in old dominio day school. The floor there are dirty, because when the parents send the baby there, the childcare donot require the parents to take off shoes or wear a wrap on your shoes. When my child came back home at the end of the day, his socks turned from white to black every day.And their shedule is very tight for us for they close at 5:30 pm, but the good thing is that when we picked the baby later than that somtimes, they never complained or required additional charges.
