I work for the catering outfit. We are a traveling catering company that works at different venues. This is the most DISGUSTING venue I have EVER seen! The speakeasy bar in the back is their main selling point. And yet, the fridge was full of mold, the ice bin was full of mold, inside the fridge was a solid pumpkin pie texture+color "grapefruit" juice. It mustve been down there for years. The floors were once white and black checkerboard but are now yellow and grey. I have never seen a place more disgusting than Old Metropolitan hall. you deserve to be shut down for serving drinks out of a moldy ice bin and moldy fridges.. the owners know, and they don't care.

The turnover made it impossible to plan an event. I wasn't contacted at all for my event and my payment was lost and I had to resend in where I paid. My floor plan design was lost (2) times. I ended up just forfeiting thousands of dollars and planning my event somewhere else due to the constant inconsistency.

We co-hosted a wedding (June 2022) at Old Metropolitan Hall (OMH) with ~80 guests. The staff at OMH were fantastic and the venue looked magical for both the ceremony and the reception. The downstairs room worked great for the dancing phase. We highly recommend OMH as a wedding venue.

Old Metropolitan Hall provided an amazing space for our local food expo. They were extremely communicative and helpful on all things. We received great feedback from everyone who attended. Many thanks to the Old Met team!

We had the pleasure of working with Sarah from the Old Metropolitan Hall when planning our wedding. She did a wonderful job with coordinating with our vendors and ensuring that our day was truly memorable. She responded to our inquiries in a timely manner and was professional throughout the entire process. Sarah is easy to work with and has a great eye for design. The Old Metropolitan Hall packs a ton of character with high ceilings, beautifully exposed brick walls, and gives off a minimalist vibe! We had 48 guests attend our wedding, which fit perfectly in the space. There was enough space for our guests to dance on the downstairs dance floor and did not feel too empty, however the space could accommodate amble number of guests. We would recommend the Old Met to any couple who is planning to have a more intimate wedding in a downtown setting.
