This Omni is perfectly located at the edge of the downtown mall! Very clean and well maintained (except our tub drain plug had to be held open). The food at the bar was well cooked and very tasty! We will stay here again.

The most fabulous place to stay. Martin, Matt, Azir? Were amazing. Matt, thanks for going out of your way for my 2 blankets and Martin/Marvin, thanks for showing us all around and taking us to our rm. And directing to the levator when I was lost. LolA SPECIAL THANKS TO the Maitre d who came up in the elevator with us when 2 sketchy young men followed us into the Omni when we opened the outside door from the mall area. They snuck in behind us, and they had followed us from the theater. My husband just said to walk faster. I'm telling you that maitre d picked right up on what was happening. The elevator opened, and he got right between the 2 guys and my husband and I. We punched 7, and the guys said that was their floor, too. We got off, the guys got off, then the maaitre d. They knocked on a door 2 doors before us and, No answer, they turned and went bk to elevator after matitre d passed them.The matrie d just kept walking towards us. I nodded to him, and he nodded back. I wish I knew his name. But, I really Thank You, whoever you were.Talk about protecting your guest. WOW !!!LOVE YOU ALL AND WE WILL BE BK.DEBORAH and STAN WALLERIt was our anniversary, which was beautiful...Rm 741

Wonderful stay at the Omni. Room was clean and overlooked the atrium. Had the best espresso martini ever at the bar, followed by a fruit and cheese tray I took back to the room. Hot tub and pool were clean and such a nice way to relax. 10/10 would stay

I went to there restaurant and my server was a young girl named Megan, she was phenomenal. I truly enjoyed her service and was pleasantly surprised with how attentive and nice she was.Walkability: Good location

Recently stayed for the first time and at first we were impressed with cleanness, Lobby, Elevators, and room were very clean. Front desk employees where very helpful and greeted me immediately. Only thing we did not like were the towels. they were rough and seemed older, they were very clean and fresh just not our style that's all. No biggie. At 2:30 AM the fire alarm went off and we noticed fire trucks outside. As we left the building to go outside ( it was cold around 28) we noticed some firefighters sitting on a picnic table. So we thought well there's no urgency at least. We walked to the Lobby entrance and sat outside with about 100 other guest. We did not see any hotel representatives. A guest noticed someone inside walking around so we all went into the lobby. Again No representatives were around, even at the front desk. Everyone was upset that no one was around to explain what was happening. The fire alarm stopped 30 mins later and everyone started headed back to their rooms. While I checked out in the morning I asked the front desk what happened, and they were very nice and explained the issue. I asked well why wasn't anyone around to offer help or explanation ? And he said he was not sure but would share it with the Hotel manager. Besides that we had a great stay LOL.

Had such a nice stay! Shawn at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. Best service experience we had all weekend. The two gentlemen bartending in the lobby we absolute pros. Room was lovely. Thank you!

A beutiful hotel located in the centre of Charlottesville. The rooms are beautifully decorated, common areas welcoming and comfortable and the cofee shop provides an excellent breakfast. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to have easy access to the historic centre of Charlottesville, and as a base to visit the surrounding historic sites.

(First time at an Omni hotel)Beautiful Hotel in a beautiful area! My wife and I stayed here for Valentine's night. Located next to the downtown mall, which featured plenty of options for dinner, dessert, and shops to check out. Stayed in the lobby to work today, and the receptionists and bar staff were so kind!Shawn in particular checked on us multiple times to ensure we were having a great stay. Never have I stayed in a hotel with such friendly hospitality until I visited this place.This place is clean, fun, beautiful, and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

First of all, I had to stay in a hotel in Charlottesville, for the sole reason that I was having cancer surgery at UVA on February 9, and I had to be at the hospital at 5:00 AM. Driving from Richmond on the morning of the ninth was not feasible. I have stayed in other hospitals and other hotels for a medical reasons, and they offered discounted rates if the medical procedure is verifiable. I would strongly suggest that you all do the same. $250 for one night for healthcare reasons is a bit ridiculous. I do appreciate the fact that you allow early check-in, but an additional charge to do so is again ridiculous . I have worked in the hospitality industry before, and I am fully aware that there are rooms available, vacant and cleaned at all hours of the day. The room was adequate, certainly nothing over the top or grand to make the stay worth the price tag. Also, I advised the clerk at the desk that I was there for a medical procedure the following morning, and they put me in a room overlooking the atrium area, which was extremely loud and included very loud music. This was very disturbing and disruptive knowing that I had a very intense four hour procedure ahead of me the next day. I also based my decision to stay with you on the fact that your website indicates you have a shuttle service to and from UVA. Once I got there and got checked in, I was advise that shuttle service is not available at 5 AM. That was a great disappointment knowing that I was going to have to incur an additional $30 Uber fee. Also, from the website, I booked a queen suite. When I got into the room, there was no sofa. There was a table and chair (singular,) but there was no sofa, and there was no desk to do any work. All in all, I was under the impression I was reserving a very, very nice room. At best, it was adequate and extremely overpriced.
