I would have given zero rating if that was an option. Charged me for almost 2 months after cancellation even though the cancellation was for a medical reason. They only care about filling their pockets and does not care about anything else. Worst fitness studio ever.

I love the atmosphere, the coaches, the people, and the workouts. I love that the workouts change each time which keeps me on my toes and I love the fact that the coaches are truly there to help you make the best of each workout! The fact that I have someone there telling me what to do and when to do it is a huge plus!!! And did I mention they play the best workout music mashups during each class! It’s like working out in a nightclub!!!! OTF Barracks Road, Charlottesville, VA is the BEST!!!!

I signed up for my first class and got there 5 minutes before. When I arrived they told me that I couldn't participate because I didn't get there 30 minutes early. Wtf! I was stuck in traffic and tried to explain to the staff but they were having none of it. No way to treat your first time customers. I hope management sees this and changes their policy as it is absolutely atrocious.

Wonderful studio, the staff are always very helpful, the coaches are involved and motivating and the studio is always very clean. A few things to note, they almost exclusively run the 2G format. You will be hard pressed to find a 3G class. They do offer a lot of lift/strength classes which I personally love. However there aren't any extras to be found. The restrooms don't contain hygiene stations, and being a tier 2 studio they don't provide free towels either (to be expected). You're going to want a towel too because they're kinda stingy with the AC here. Oh, did I mention all the coaches are GREAT, because they really are!

10 classes down and looking forward to completing so many more! This location has an incredibly supportive staff and coaching team. As an athlete in a “non-traditional” body type, I have never felt out of place because the coaches are always not only willing to provide modifications, they frequently offer them without asking. I get my ? kicked every time, but shout out to Coach Ky for the hardest class yet yesterday. She challenged us but also kept us motivated through some sweet jams and encouragement! Come join me soon and check it out!

Stopped in while traveling. Staff were friendly and helpful, and loved the coach. Facilities were clean and in good repair. I’ve visited several studios in Virginia and this is one of the best. Thanks for a great workout!

If I could I would give a 0 and I am a dedicated to orange theory fitness. My husband and I were visiting this studio from out of town and I was excited to try a new studio. He forgot shorts and we were booked for a 10am class. We explained the situation and were told that he could go to old navy which opened at 10 and was right next door. At 10:08 he was ready, wearing his new shorts and was told he couldn’t take the class due to corporate policy. I understand why there is a policy in place but we explained the situation to the staff who seemed very understanding and accommodating just to be stopped at the door by the same people to be told he couldn’t work out. Just horrible

The work outs were okay- I think the cardio portion is good but the strength/floor work is just so fast paced that it felt like I was being pushed through movement with no concern about posture or correct form. That probably would have improved with more classes but unfortunately class times are super limited. This is probably a great gym if you don’t work or have zero outside commitments but 3 classes a day to choose from when paying 160/ month was not a good value for me personally. I felt like I was told the pantops location would have more classes to choose from when they opened so I gave it several months and it just didn’t have a lot of options that worked for my schedule. The ones that did work were almost always full. Most of the staff is really helpful and nice, especially the trainers. I eventually decided to cancel membership as I was not able to make the schedule work and that was a process. I was strung along for over a month being told a manager had to do the cancellation, but there was never one available. Finally I spoke with someone who said that info was incorrect and I just needed to fill out a form. All in all the workouts were pretty good and the trainers were great. The administration portion really needs work and the cost seems a little high given the lack of class options.

The trainers are nice and helpful.Organization as a whole is greedy and has poor communication. One of the companies that will abuse “hey it was in the contract”. Very predatory and I advise to try many of the other fitness options in the area that are cheaper as well.Recommending Orange Theory against anyone in college or may need flexibility. They only have communication when it is an opportunity to earn another paycheck from you. Warning all my friends as well.

Very welcoming on my first visit and it is clear the staff is focused on what is best for each member. The coach cheered for me, corrected my form and helped me get where I was supposed to be during the workout.Overall a great experience and I look forward to my next class.

First time I am ever writing a Yelp review. All the trainers and front staff are friendly and helpful.Management is frustratingly greedy, inflexible, and predatory. The cost is extremely high. For various reasons with their company policies, I strongly advise college kids reading this to stay away. There is only fast and clear communication when it comes to helping their bottom line, and when discussing freezing/cancelling, they drop communication. Not only that, they blamed ME for not reading the contract well enough. At least it's a good lesson for me to be more careful with these fitness companies in the future.Having literally never written a single Yelp review before in my life, you have to imagine my frustration to write this one.

Orangetheory has something for everyone. The high intensity workouts are fantastic. The coaches are supportive and push you to give every workout your all. The front desk people are kind and helpful. Warning: it is addictive.

I don't have as much time to work out as I would like, and definitely don't have time to design my workouts which is why I love Orange Theory's format. For 3 days a week; I show up, Im greeted by the great staff, the coaches push, challenge and encourage me for an hour, I burn anywhere from 800-900 calories and get on with the rest of my life. Its efficient, its fun and I've easily lost 20lbs since I stared.
